I've stickied this thread (at least for now) so it's not among the other MM threads/diaries. Also a good way to discuss all of the MM's and see which one you like the best.

Thinking of other threads like ones asking for advise and what not ... but I'm not too sure right now so if you guys got any ideas feel free to suggest them (maybe make a new thread like a "MM Section Improvement Thread" or something).

Edit: Just thought I'd include this in here as well:

If there are any threads in the other sections that you think should be moved to the MM section, feel free to report them. It's better than replying in those threads asking us to move them because they're harder to notice. With reporting the threads, I'll get an email along with a new item in the reported posts/threads list so it'll be much easier to notice I'm sure

lol thanks I've been taking a break.
Giving others a chance lol. I'm getting WSM 08 soon, so it might be a while before I post another mm thread unfortunately.

I have been told in PM's that my West Ham thread's live text is a great innovation, and well executed (I type down all events as they happen, so people clicking refresh button would eventually see the second half posted almost like live text), so I hope to see that mentioned here, but I have to say I quite like to read Muzzy's Arsenal one.

Not for different teams you won't. It would be nice to see the threads organised per team than having to sift through the Man u threads of glory hunters. Why don't more people pick the lower rank teams? I'm a lalalala player and I do and it's brill.

My favourite thread is the Swansea one, good opinions in there and a good read of his matches. I like for instance he was mid table and he is enjoying it as oppose to these Man u threads where they are stuffing the opposition 7-0 and the like, they must be on Amateur level regardless of what they say. I'm on Semi-pro and my highest score has been 3-1. If these glory hunters want to prove they are good at this game then they should choose a half star team but I'm guessing winning at all costs means more to them.

With all do respect, you better not be refering to every Man U thread as glory hunters.

----------------

As for the best threads, I'd say Muzzy's Arsenal one and Robbie's West Ham one's are definately the best reads.

Especially Muzzy's as it's so very well organized and it really stands out in terms of team knowledge and stats.

Sorry Robbie, I wasn't comparing. lol

With all respect most of them are, note I said most. Muzzy's one is very good I agree, I had read of that today.
I just think it is a more interesting read when someone is managing further down the leagues as it gives you more of an insight into the game no?
If you prefer a different way of playing good for you but I do not. I find it boring reading how Man u have stuffed someone every week or any 5 star team for that matter, I would prefer to read how for example Swansea won the Fa Cup or got promotion as IMO that takes a greater amount of skill, don't you think?

Whilst it probably would make a different read because most people are reluctant to do it, or if they do they don't carry it on for long, but surely the difficulty depends on the difficulty the game is played? Playing as Swansea on semi pro is far easier than playing as, say, Inter on World Class.

Well, I don't mean to start a fight with you man and to be honest, I do agree with you. I have seen many use Man Utd or Barcelona as glory hunters and go out into the real world and claim they are the 'true' fan of that team. Like i'm playing Man U in World Class and I spent hours practicing to try and even fend off World Class difficulty lol. I've been a Man U fan since '93 and you'd imagine why i'd play them. I'm actually moving on to another team once i'm finished with United such as maybe a lower ranked German team or stuff like that. But honestly dude, that is the greater skill. In 06, I took Kaiserslautern from the slumps of the Bundesliga to the Champions League trophy and it was satisfying due to the fact that it was thrilling to have such a challenge.

I'm actually a a Chelsea fan from birth, my family comes from Fulham so I had a choice of two, lol. (Chelsea's ground is in Fulham for those that don't know) Plus when I used to go regular home and away they were lalalala but starting to get better. I was there at Rotherham for example when we got stuffed 6-0! But saying that in game obviously I like to play as Chelsea and Fulham but honestly I think the game comes alive playing the little teams. I reckon players like you who not only play their team but play others as well is what the game should be about alas playing in the lobby on the ps3 there is not much evidence of this, it seems to be win at all costs than rather have a good game and get some enjoyment out of it win or lose. If you play COD for example and didn't enjoy it then you wouldn't bother again would you? If it wasn't for manager Mode then I think I would have given up a while ago.

Muzzy you are right of course playing at a higher skill is obviously more demanding but then you could say playing a lower ranked team at the same high level is even more demanding no? I play on semi-pro as I'm not good enough to progress but I'm playing with Morecambe and having a laugh, lol. I've heard there is a problem with pro mode, is this true and how much harder is world class mode?

MaverickZero has an ace thread
Muzzy171's Arsenal thread is fairly good
DannyBRonaldo's is good because its very long but sometimes it looks like it could use abit of structure but having one that long probably don't care that much about the lay out.

It's good, but it's no more detailed than some of the other threads. Not the best one in my opinion. No, Muzzy and Maverick still have that honour
