The Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is set to meet Chairman Malcolm Glazer and members of the board to discuss Ryan Giggs's contract at Old Trafford.

The 34 year-old, who has spent 17 years at the club and appeared a staggerring 524 times and scored 100 goals, will not attend to the meeting, but instead will talk to Glazer after training.

He has capped Wales 64 times and scored 13 goals.

Wayne Rooney is not happy that he hasn't started for the squad in the league this season. He refused to speak to us, but he made it clear that he was furious. He said to the local radio station 'I havent scored or assisted yet this season I admit, but the saying goes you won't score without shooting, and it's like that, I havent started, so I dont get much chance.'
