![]() TOTTENHAMS FUTURE On Monday Brett Stevens and the Tottenham board released a statement in which they laid to rest recent speculation on most of their younger stars. Adel Taraabt, Kevin Prince-Boateng, Freddy Adu, Younes Kaboul, Tom Huddlestone, Gareth Bale and Giles Barnes all signing new contracts that will see most of them with the club till the end of the 2011 season. The announcment will put any transfer speculation around the players to rest and will warn off any club looking to sign these players in the next transfer period. We want to make it clear that these players are not expendable and we do not wish to lose any of them, was how Stevens put it. While we dont expect this to scare off any clubs looking to sign these stars they will be looking at very high transfer fees if they want to pursue them. We have held individual meetings with the players and they all seem content in staying at White Hart Lane and helping us obtain local and european glory. Brett Stevens has made his and Tottenhams aspirations quite clear and with these recent signings it seems Tottenhams future is pretty well set. The team having an unbelievable start to the season, winning 10 games on the trot and with the depth they now have it seems there will finally be another player in the titleship race. ![]() TOTTENHAM CONVINCING WINNERS OVER FULHAM Tottenham fans were again celebrating after their teams match with Fulham. Tottenhams unbelievable start to the season continuing with a 3 nil win in todays match. Dimitar Berbatov opened the scoring after making a great run through the Fulham defence to recieve a great pass from Huddlestone, and when the linesmans flags stayed down it was obvious 'Berbs' as his team mates call him would have his 10th goal this season. Toping the league with ex team mate Darren Bent. Berbatov would grab a second goal in the 14th minute when an unbeliavable cross from Lennon would find him with pin point accuracy. From there it was classic Berbatov as he would push away from the Fulham defence and slot a header past Keller. Lennon himself would add to the scoring late in the second half after a break away from Defoe. The English striker could of scored himself but seeing his team mate in a better position Defoe didnt think twice in giving Lennon his first goal of the season. |

![]() ROBINSON BREAKS CECH RECORD Paul Robinson has broken the record of most consecutive time without conceding a goal in the FA premier league. Once held by Peter Cech who went 1025 minutes without conceding a goal, Robinson has broken that by 65 minutes in todays match against Manchester City. Robinsons new record of 1080 minutes has capped off a great start to the season which sees the English keeper in unbelievable form. The match which nearly saw Tottenhams winning streak come to an end went right down to the wire before a goal from Jermaine Defoe would seal it for the league leaders. Tottenhams winning streak in the league now stretching to 11 games an unimaginable accomplishment after the sacking of manager Martin Jol. Brett Stevens has definately worked some kind of magic in his first season in the premier league. Could the young manager win the title in his debut year, it would be a dream come true for him, Tottenham and their fans. |

![]() UNBEATABLE SPURS 2 headers would continue Tottenhams winning ways, Bale with the first in the 19th minute after a Jenas corner found him unmarked at the near post. The young defender playing on the wing making no mistake. The second came in injury time when Lennon would find open field to make a dazzling run down the right side. Keane would time his run perfectly for Lennons cross the captain finding himself on the end of an absolute scorcher. 2 nil Tottenham and it would seem that they are quite unbeatable this season! |
