Thanks. I wish I had the patience to write such detailed match reports like you do though.

Chelsea Beat Bayern In Penalty Shootout, Advance To Semi-finals

LONDON, UK- Stamford Bridge was the home of celebration as Chelsea advanced past Bayern Munich and into the semi-finals.
Chelsea opened up scoring in the 16th minute when Frank Lampard took a penalty as a result of Huntelaar being taken down in the box.
The Blues then played defensively, hoping that the goal would stand, but the brilliance of Bayern striker Miroslav Klose created a goal in the 83rd minute that Chelsea were unable to counter as the game went into extra time.
After no goals were scored in extra time, the game went to penalties.
Lampard took the first penalty, putting it past Oliver Kahn (above). Bayern's Lukas Podolski took the next one, but it was saved by Petr Cech.
All of the rest of the penalties were taken successfully, with Ballack, Klose, Huntelaar, van Bommel, Joe Cole, Altintop, and Essien finally putting away the winner.
Chelsea will face Juventus in the semi-finals.
Other results include:
Stuttgart 4-1 Celtic
(Stuttgart advance on 5-1 aggregate)
Juventus 5-1 PSV
(Juventus advance on 10-3 aggregate)
Roma 1-2 Liverpool
(Liverpool advance on 5-2 aggregate)

The semi-finals matchups are:

I hope I don't either, though Stuttgart would probably make a pretty tough opponent. I played them twice in the group stages though, so I'd say either way I'm familiar enough with the opposition.

It's weird, the same situation happened with me. (Arsenal). The semifinals were Arsenal vs. Man City and Milan vs. VfB Stuttgart, with me beating Milan in the final. Milan was in my group, so it's a nearly identical situation to yours.

Yeah my theory is that they made it that far because they got experience playing such a great team as me twice in the group stages.

Malouda Sent Off In Blues Victory Over Juventus

LONDON, UK- Chelsea got a well-earned victory over Juventus despite playing with ten men for a little over half of the match.
Florent Malouda (above) played an excellent cross in the 28th minute to Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, who headed it in to put Chelsea a goal up.
In the 42nd minute, Malouda made a reckless challenge on Juventus' David Trezeguet, and was sent off in the process. The action was received with jeers from the crowd at Stamford Bridge, both aimed towards the referee and the French winger.
Just before halftime, Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero produced an excellent free kick, which was put into the net easily by Trezeguet. This would force the game even at half.
In the 90th minute, when the game looked to end in a draw, Chelsea's Joe Cole and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar combined to give their team the win. Joe Cole's pass was excellent, finding Huntelaar, who was able to pass Juve defender Jorge Andrade to score a powerful shot past world class keeper Gianluigi Buffon.

In the other semi-final first leg, Stuttgart beat Liverpool 2-0 in Germany to give the Bundesliga side a great advantage going into Anfield.

Chelsea Win Premier League Again

LONDON, UK- At the conclusion of what has proven to be a great year for the Blues, Chelsea Football Club has won their second consecutive Premier League title and their fourth in five years.
Chelsea finish the season with eighty points, six more than second place West Ham United. They had the league's leading goalscorer, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, the league's keeper with the most clean sheet, Petr Cech, and the league's Player of the Year, Frank Lampard, who also led the league in assists and finished third in goals scored. Chelsea also conceded only eighteen goals, least in the league, and scored forty-nine goals, the second most in the league only behind Everton.
Relegated this year from the Premier League are Sunderland, West Brom, and Manchester City. The most heartbroken of these three, Sunderland, suffered last-day relegation after a 2-1 loss at home to Aston Villa, and a Crystal Palace 0-0 draw with Blackburn at Ewood Park.

This hope was squashed by Juve striker David Trezeguet, who in the 39th minute beat Chelsea defender Alex, and put together an excellent strike, which went off the upright and into the net to give his side the lead.
Now it was Juventus who played defensively, knowing that they would advance if the score stood due to the away goal rule. The game went into halftime with Juve up 1-0.

As the Blues Champions League run looked over, Chelsea forced a corner in the 84th minute. This corner was well-taken by Frank Lampard, and was headed in off the crossbar by Ghanaian midfielder Michael Essien.
Unable to respond, Juventus watched as the match ended in a draw and Chelsea advanced to their first Champions League final in club history.

Chelsea Win Champions League In Dramatic Final

ROME, ITALY- Chelsea have won their first ever UEFA Champions League trophy. It wasn't easy, but it was an entertaining match for Chelsea fans and neutrals alike.
Though Chelsea looked dominant early on, Cacau of Stuttgart opened scoring in the 25th minute with a goal off of a pass from defender Arthur Boka.
Chelsea soon equalized in the 30th minute with a Joe Cole goal off of a Lampard corner. These two early goals set the tone for the rest of the match.
In the 66th minute, Frank Lampard buried a brilliant free kick into the net past Stuttgart keeper Raphael Schäfer to give his side the lead.
Cacau leveled the score again in the 74th minute though, with a goal off of a Mario Gomez pass. The game would go into extra time with the score 2-2.
In the 95th minute, Cacau looked to score another goal, but was taken down in the box by Chelsea fullback Glen Johnson. The result was a red card for Johnson and a penalty kick, which was successfully taken by Stuttgart midfielder Yıldıray Baştürk.
In the 103rd minute, Chelsea got a penalty kick as well after winger Joe Cole was brought down in the box. Lampard equalized with the converted penalty.
In the 112th minute, Chelsea striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored a dramatic goal in which he curled the shot past the Stuttgart keeper and gave his side a 4-3 lead eventually the win.
Chelsea go into the summer with both a Premier League title and European Champions, the first to do so since this feat was accomplished by Manchester United in the 1998-99 season.

LONDON, UK- Chelsea started the season off on a high note with a 1-0 win over Reading at Madejski Stadium.

Chelsea Lose European Super Cup On Own Goal

MONACO- Chelsea played well throughout the match, but it was a bitter defeat for the Blues.
