Dual Action Gamepad not working in the Game But working in the Menu

Hi,
I am having strange problem Im using Logitech Dual action gamepad in Fifa 2008, Gamepad fully works till I start the actual game. D pad, keystrocks works properly. the moment game starts. it does not.

is there anything else I need to do. I am very new in Pc gaming. I dont even know how to exacly proram profile for Logitech. Hope I did it good.

I selected desired keystrocks in the profiler for the keys on the gamepad. and selected the Fifa exe from the explorer.

Any one please help me.
