Fifa 08 Can't install updates

I've just installed fifa 08 but when i try to get online say's i need updates. OK so i went to update site tried to install but won't let me any sugestions. tnks

So when you try and download/install the updates what happens?

Are there any error messages?

Ensure you are installing the patches in order, and that you have downloaded the correct version of the patch that matches your version of the game (language and region).

I went to this web site :: FIFA 08 :: Patches :: clicked the North American link. Installed patch one which was in a zip file. everything seems fine. then i install patch 2 game fixes and it says this "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. Noupdate Done since flie contents do not match." Am i downloading the wrong patch?? thnks for the help

Try having a look at this thread if you are having issues with the NA patch 2.

Dear EA

I am living in South Africa, and since there are no patches for Africa I have to download the patches for nordric UK, patch 1 works, but patch 2 reaches 63% and says "Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done sonce file updates do not match.

Please can you supply me with advice.

hey guys i am new and i stay in INDIA

i am in a bit of trouble entering the online gaming where in i am being asked to asked to update my game fifa 08 but when i download the patches it says "old file not found however a file of same name was found. no update done since file contents donot match"

what shall i do please help i want to play fifa 08 online
