Can't get Logitech Dual Action Gamepad to work on FIFA 08

I cannot get the Logitech Dual Action game pad to work on FIFA 08. I have tried everything that I have read and it still does not work. It will scroll some of the items like the game practice options. I had it working once but don't exactly remember why. I programmed it by specifying the keystrokes to go with a certain command. Any ideas would be appreciated.

It is one of the EA recommended game pads for FIFA 08.

find official logitech drivers on their site which are free btw...

Are you plugging it in before starting FIFA?

The gamepad should work fine with FIFA 08, so if you are having problems I suggest that you contact EA Customer Support with your issue.

I actually fixed the problem. It was the way I was programming the buttons and the joy sticks. Thanks for all of the comments.

Hi,
I am having strange problem Im using Logitech Dual action gamepad in Fifa 2008, Gamepad fully works till I start the actual game. D pad, keystrocks works properly. the moment game starts. it does not.

is there anything else I need to do. I am very new in Pc gaming. I dont even know how to exacly proram profile for Logitech. Hope I did it good.

Can you tell me how to do the profiler program
I selected desired keystrocks in the profiler for the keys on the gamepad. and selected the Fifa exe from the explorer.

Any one please help me.
