Yes, use the fix that AFDLee posted. The reason why VancouverBlade didn't re-post it in this thread is because AFDLee had already posted it before he did. If you check out Online Play then you can see that VancouverBlade has also posted the fix as a sticky there too, Clicky.

I play online onm a windows vista machine. After I have played a ranked game, the computer does not save the result, either on my leaderboard ranking or an my stats (theyre still 0-0-0) After the game is completed, the result is shown on the screen that comes up on the final whistle which compares your stats to your oponents, but then is lost after i click continue to return to the lobby. After i click continue to return to the lobby, the fifa game seems to briefly minimumise the result and shows the desktop and i feel that this may be the problem. Does anyone know how they can fix this for me please.

Since I used this fix, my lobby screen doesnt show other users who have created games. Instead I have question marks instead of other players and I am unable to join games (pc version)
Is this a result of the new fix?

You're using a cracked version of the game you muppet.
Telling everyone you installed the game using daemon tools was probably the most unintelligent thing you could've said. You might aswell of just said "i am using a cracked copy of fifa 08. my reg key generator doesn't work for online gaming"

I have windows vista and after the latest update from microsoft of windows vista service pack 1 i can no longer get online and play previously it was fine, i do not want to uninstall vistA SERVICE PACK 1 AS IT TOOK OVER AN HOUR TO INSTALL .

AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH ON THIS FORUM I HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING BUT NO AVAIL I HAVE DELETED THE FILE

AND ALSO DONE THIS

A) Find the file blank.html(just called blank) in the EASO dir of the game install.

(Should be in C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\FIFA 08\data\EASO\commonHtml

B) In there, copy the file blank and name it blankPage

c) i.e. you need the files blank AND blankPage

ALL RELEVANT PORTS OPEN ON MY ANTIVIRUS/FIREWALL PLEASE HELP.
