Wow... this is totally unacceptable. After such a long time, EA still did not get the NA patch 2 bug fixed.

I am not too sure how much are they paid but we still need to download the patch from another source. This is just amazing!

It is almost impossible to download from rapidshare in my country. The message will always be that my ip address is already downloading something, hence I cannot do a double download when in fact I did not download anything at all.

But credits to the thread starter. Still no luck to play online...

Well, I ain't too sure if mine is the NA version.

When fifa 08 starts, I have this British flag that says English and a flag that looks like the Mexico flag that says Espanol.

I tried all the patch downloads with the British flag but none worked. So I tried the NA version and the 1st patch worked. The 2nd one did not.

I followed some instructions to download from rapidshare via a download program. Did everything (copy paste to the EAsports folder and stuff.) However, I still get the same error and stuck at the same 78%.

What's wrong?

ChuaJustin, i've updated the first post. Maybe you're patching with the wrong regions. Check the first post again and try the steps. Hopefully the simple instructions would help

Thanks for the updated post. The checking of my Fifa 08 version program actually did not work for me. I got some error message when i open it.

The ini_pc.big worked.
