Quitting Early

I am a reasonable player (top 800 rank) and I beat 2 guys last night ranked 7 and 26.
They both quit just after the final whistle and the usual lost connection message appears.
When you then go into the stats screen, it is like I have never played these guys, they just disappear.

What the hell are they doing in order for this to work, does it work every time? Why do they get away with it ? Its sooooo frustrating when they quit and the result vanishes, just wanted to hear others thoughts, experiences, advice etc ?

I get people quiting all the time. sometimes it's been a really good game, 2-1 up till 70+minute, then I score another and they quit!

why can't it say your opponent has forfeited?????

Just think, even though the result disappears you still know you've beaten the 7th and 26th ranked players and if they need to quit to stop them from loosing games then that's their problem and they are sore loosers. Congrats for beating them.

True, but not getting the rank points can be so frustrating when you deserve them.

Hopefully a problem that will be sorted in 08

Yesterday night I ran into 4 people doing this. I don't get how in the world it doesn't show up as a lose for them, very strange, A problem I feel needs fixed as well.

if it happens right after a goal has scored....im talking about before the ball is kicked off, its not people quiting.

its a known bug in the game....ea has actually already said they arent fixing it for 08 either.

now if youre playing, the guy is passing the ball around the back, then the screen goes black & you disconnect, thats someone cheating.

and about 90% of the top 100 are going to cheat or quit on you. its just part of the game, its not going to change.

yeah i know when they are quitting or not, sometimes connection is lost that quickly at strange times (after a goal) you know its a bug.

Its when the final whistle goes and the screen freezes up, i just think I have wasted 5 minutes of my life playing a decent game for some tossa to decide he doesn't want the loss

needs fixing big time

Why are people always talking about quiting, when in reality it's the people that are really cheating by hacking the servers and moding the game that make people quit?

And yes some people quit to cheat but the top players usually never quit because they are know better ways to get their win...if you know what I mean.

Yeah this is so annoying, this happened to me yesterday 4 times in a row. no record of playing with them!!!

I think the connection problem thing is just an excuse. It never disconnects when my oppositon scores, only happens when i do!!! they are quitting obviously.

that is unacceptable EA just can't say they aren't goin 2 fix this terrible glitch/problem

this is totally unacceptable EA just can't say they aren't going to fix this terrible problem/glitch they must do something about this it isn't fair and could easily decrease the amount of fifa 07 xbox 360 online users

probably cus their scared to loose their "Rank" so they quit cus they dont wanna get beat... pretty sad if you ask me

I like to challange for my rank, win or loose.. i used to hammer fifa07 online but i hardly play online now

won around 140 with about 80 losses lol >_<
