hey, OSRSO9, I am not too sure what a rocket pass/shot is but I think you can search in this forum on some 'cheap' tactics written. Maybe you can find some descriptions of tactics that sound like a 'rocket pass/shot'. I think it has got sth to do with what you do in your own half...

What amksore said was actually what i did not 'dare' to write. cos' some people posted before him/her that they want to keep the rocket pass/shot a secret. Anyway, that was a great goal scored using the rocket shot by amksore. Point to take note is that the hold A then D must be done in your own half to work. This type of goal is extremely rare I think. cos' i tried so many times and they are either not on target or the keeper saves it. Never succeeded before.

On ps2 yesterday i was watching PC vs PC of Bayern Munich vs Roma. And a Roma defender gave a strong defensive header and then
Bastian schweinsteiger came up with a rocket shot from about 40-45 yards but the keeper took it easily

I would guess thats because the system knows what the opponent is going to do, most of the time them sort of games are pre-planned by the makers. Well thats what I think anyway.
