Default Youth Academy............

Is it really true that players that you get from your youth academy end up to be "Star Players" or is that just bull

And if so please name some of your players and how you get to make them so good, oh and i would also want to know their overall

Oh, one ore thing i have this one kid from my youth academy that i just signed Stephen Cassidy he is a 27 overall and like 16 years old and on Chelsea im trying to get him to be a "Star Player" but he is getting XP points but his overall seems to not go up, why is that?

Thanks in return!

hmmm, i think prestige plays a big part in the youth academy, also when looking at players in youth academy click R1 (on ps2 and you can see what OVR stats he wil grow into./...

i have never ever WANTED to get one of the youth players because spending time developing his overall is just not worth it. i only got one or two of them as substitutes so i wouldnt run out of players suddenly.
youre way better off buying a 20-24 aged player from any other club with like overall at least 80. most of them will improve to 90. just dont buy any player older than 27 or 28 cause they will most likely just go down in their rating one year later

thats a useless tip.

barely any youth academy players become stars, well ive in 2014, and the best ive seen so far is Eddie Smith and he became a 78 or something close.

How the hell do you end up having god-like players in your academy? Never ever had a player that is more than 50! The scouting and academy system sucks in the game! It is all just down to luck!

Big clubs don't always get the best grassroots players. West Ham is probably the best club that produce home grown players (notable Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Jermaine Defoe, Michael Carrick, etc.).
