Default Database Feedback

We're interested in your feedback regarding the database.

Is the data accurate enough? Are there any stats which are just plain wrong? Please remember that there will always be some personal opinion differences in how people believe players should be rated, so a 1-5 point difference in skill could be seen as a personal opinion.

Your feedback will be directed to the studio for consideration.

Please pay more attention to the players' appearances e.g. B.Leverkusen's Andriy (not Andrej btw) Voronin wears the same ponytail for years, but in the game he's very short haired (which was more than 5 years ago). Oleksandr Shovkovskyi (Ukraine national team GK#1) NEVER was red or blonde. Now in the game he's got short red hair. How come? See the real pic:

These are really few to mention. Some players tend to have unexpected moustaches like A. Ferdinand. Some are black when they are not in real life. Things these may prevent the gamers from buying certain players in Career cos they want to keep their Manager Mode experience as realistic as possible.

Also about the ratings: S. Kalou is severely overrated as well as Beckham. W. Bridge is underrated. Ukrainian national team is all wrong done. I mean, no kits wrong ratings (e.g Milevskyi). etc.

there's an idea about making the international team players without a club (in FIFA07) available in Manager Mode as Free Agents. That would be more realistic than not having them at all. Please consider that.

Also, can you make M. Owen start the Manager Mode as severely injured? That would be realistic cos he keeps scoring in my career

I hope you will use more help from your local representatives to create/modify the database. You just can't do the whole football world right staying in Canada or in UK.

Thanks for making this sticky (finally). I hope we'll be heard.

Thanx.

Rooney is rated too high. And Henry has had the same face for THREE YEARS! Can't he have some hair at least? Oh, and please don't underrate many players. Lauren and Hleb notably. And some Scottish League players.

Lauren didn't play for half a season and from 85 he dropped to 77! Hleb didn't have a superb season, but from 87 to 79? That's crazy!

And Henry, being one of the fastest strikers around? Speed slightly too low. His Acceleration is one of the quickest in the world, IMO.

What I don't understand is:

Werder Bremen being in the Demo. So it's considered an European top team, right? Why the hell are like 50% of the players low detailed? Like no original faces... Tim Wiese (GK). Just an example. There's a lot other players in other teams I'd mention if I was asked.

Oh, and about the ratings: Don't cry... They'll never find a rating that satisfies everyone around here, right?

You'd rate players like YOU see them, right? But maybe I do see them differently. That's what I was pointing out.

I meant that I would be given the job to rate only the players that you don't usually see at all. So I would evaluete them with some help of the local FIFA community and mr. Commonsense. Heard about him?

Make under 23 players have lower stats so they don't end up being 98 in manager mode.

Or rather, restrict growth curves... That way they won't develop to 98 and be at least 93 when they max out.

What would lead to a rating made by a small group of people. Even though people usually have no idea of a player they start crying he's under/overrated. That's what's gonna happen... no matter who makes the ratings. That's all I meant. End of this. Thanks.

add more fringe/reserve and senior players e.g song on arsenal, dudley cambell at birmingham... also add free agent pool like pes so that u can remove players from clubs, and players without clubs that are on national teams can be somewhere; therefore lots of the big name players can be in the game if u want to transfer or add them to a team. for example if a player leaves its club to a club not in the game in january u can move him to the free agent pool which keeps him in the game. beter than eas patch that deleates the player altogether. this would also mean players like dong fangzhao could b moved to man united in january as he is not in a club in fifa 07 but hes on the china national team. this would also mean these players could b bought in the manager mode. players lik ray ray okacha could be available as hes on nigeria but not on a club

For rangers alan mcgregor charlie adam nacho novo and lee martin are rated way too low they all have ratings about 40-60 and are playing amazing for rangers right now unlike some of the other players who have been given high ratings. Klos is given the highest goal keeper rating and he hasn't played for us in over a year and can't even get a place on the bench. Yet other players who have shown they are now good players like mcgregor and adam have way too low ratings for it to be anything like lifelike.

I think you should get a new Louis Saha face. He has not long hair anymore.

And why does only Rooney, Ferdinand, Park, Solskjær and Ronaldo got Nike boots in Manchester United, when Silvestre, Saha, Evra, Scholes also has Nike boots.

Also I think you should have a unlockable like in the World Cup game where you could unlock shoes.

I think also classic shirts was a great unlockable in the World Cup game. In FIFA you could have like the Manchester United Champions League shirt from 1999 and of course some national shirts.

I hope you will concider some of these ideas for FIFA 08.

Actually it's Paul Gascoigne. He spelt it right.

Bobby Charlton and Gary Lineker and also err... the retired Shearer and Bergkamp should be added in as well.

Also, realistic morale stats in Manager Mode. It's not fair that I have to rotate my squad like Rafa Benitez does...

Thanx for correcting me. I mixed the spelling with Mike Gascoyne, the Spyker-MF1 Chief Technical Officer.

I completely agree about Shearer and Bergkamp.
