FIFA 07 PC Patch

Here is the information regarding the PC patch for FIFA 07.

Patch contents :
1. Reduced accuracy of goalkeeper's lobbed passes and through balls.
2. Updated squad database:
- Added 257 new players
- Edited 13 players
- Updated approx. 2500 lineups, shirt numbers and positions
- Updated captain, kick takers and formation data for 51 teams
3. Fixed crash bug dealing with uploading a crest for your EASO Club.
4. Fixed crash bug dealing with goalkeeper backing into goal post while
using pace control.

Please ensure you download the correct patch for your game :

Please note that during the initial launch phase of the patch you may experience a "file not found" error. This is due to heavy traffic on the patch server, which automatically duplicates itself over time. If you receive this error please try later.

For those who have experienced patching issues this evening, please ensure the following :

- that you are using a full copy of FIFA 07 without any no-cd or similar patches applied.

- that you have downloaded the correct version of the patch for the copy of FIFA you have. If you bought your version of FIFA through EA Downloader you will need to use the Downloader specific patch.

Due to a delay in the online gaming servers being updated there was a period where the game would inform you that you needed to patch, even though you had done so already. This update is now, we believe, complete so this problem should be resolved.

You can now download the PC version of the Winter Squads Update for FIFA 07 here.

This update brings the FIFA 07 player database in line with the transfers made up to the close of the January transfer window.

We will have further information on the console versions of this patch as soon as possible.

Update: The issue with the Nordic English version of the squad update has now been resolved, you can download the patch from the same link above or directly from here.
