Sure it would be cheating but if you don't want to use it then don't use it. That is why I think it has to be an option. In online play and maybe all two player games it would be turned off. If you think it would spoil it then don't do it.

To me its a video game that I play for fun and I think this would make the game more fun. I'm not sure it is any different than being able to change all my players to 99 if I really want to.

An alternative I thought of would be to allow saving a snapshot of the current game at any time and then be able to pull that scenario up in practice mode to start practising from that point.

I would prefer the in-game solution though. To have to wait until the game is over to go to practise session makes it less appealing.

When I'm coming down the middle and instead of passing to the wing I try a through pass that doesn't get through I would love to be able to replay that and pass to the wing and see what happens. I really don't care if it affects the games outcome but why not make that an option.

Although its more inconvenient than a problem or error, & although this is an improvement, so its fits in, but its not a "suggestions" but anyways...

I'd like a "natural precedence" in kick takers, what I mean is, what you do is you select in order who you want to take free kicks in a precedence order such as

Free Kicks

Vicente
Quaresma
Reo-Coker
Hugo Viana

In a list of precedence, such as I don't have to set a free kick taker before the game if I take one off, I mean I know I can quick select & change kick taker in game, however it'd be nice so make a list which is easier, if Vicente isn't on, & Quaresma is, then Quaresma is the freekick taker, if both Vicente & Quaresma aren't on, & Reo-coker is, then Reo-coker is the kick taker... same with Captain, Corners & Penalties... such would just be more convenient.

I agree. It would be good for manager mode in particular. If something happens in a game that you could have done differently in attack or defence then you could transfer it to practice mode, which should be within manager mode, and work on it in training. Kind of like managers in real life who see something in a game and work on it in training the following week.

Being able to do it immediately is good aswell though, but it should never affect the result - that would make it kind of unrealistic and pointless if you continually replayed match incidents till they turned out in your favour cause then you would always win.

EDIT: also agree with the post above by Naluturotis about free kicks. You should also be able to select different free kick takers for each side of the field.

I Think For PS2, Or PC, That Using An Eye Toy or A WebCam, You Could Like Take A Photo Of Yourself Using It, And Then You Could Like Import It Into Fifa 08 and then you could use it in create a player to put your own face in!

a few things could be improved...

A-league should be in there, especially considering Australia showed the world in Germany that we are a worthy football nation. (We would of one the world cup if it wasn't for the big swan diving italians... barstards heheh)

Also the celebrations after goals could be improved, and wen u win the premiership or trophy there should be more celebrations. They show more of the opposition shaking hands with the referee then the team that won the cup. they should have it like the Gwermany World Cup game and show the confetti in the air and be alot more realistic. This would make the game so much more real and give u a sense of accomplishment!!

For Keyboard controls they should make skills easier to use.. takes to long to get the hang of the double stepover etc and flip-flap make it easier like certain keys..e.g (f) = stepover)...

the dynamic weather is good although it could be better... it rains and stops which makes in unpredictable but like there could be massive storms, hail, sleet, maybe snow in european countries... or like sun showers.... also they haven't put much shadowing in forwexample of the staduim taking up a quarter of the field...

Crowd could also be a little more realistic and they could show the avatar of the coach jumping up and down or throwing his arms around on the sideline when a team goes 1 up in the grandfinal or is loosing...

Also mangermode more comprehensive... Should be able to trial youth players and watch them play before signing them up like a 5 min match and pick who u want to select i think that would be a great feature...

I know I've been posting some big features to implement, but I think it's time for me to post some "little things" that will improve the game alot:

1. Sim-To-Date (ie let us manage every day on the calendar)

Sim-To-Date is a feature in the Calendar screen that lets you pick any day and choose to sim all days until that selected day. What it basically means is that you don't skip days when you don't have a match on. You simply get the main manager mode screen, but with the 'Play Match' replaced by 'Move to Next Day'

You may say, oh i dont wanna do that for every day. But trust me, it's VERY useful especially during transfer period. If you only have say 2 or 3 games during the transfer period, then you'll only get 2 or 3 chances to view the transfer market, make offers, wait for responses from other teams..and so on. If you can move to the next day even though you don't have a match, then now every day on the calendar during the transfer period is open for you to do whatever you want.

Also, if they add "practice mode" to Manager Mode, you can use your off days to practice.

Every other EA Sports title has this feature, I hope FIFA joins too

2. The goalie bug

Even though some will consider this a minor problem, but the fact that this hasn't been fixed for like 2 years is what makes it really bad. I'm talking about the bug where the ball crosses the line but its in the hands of the goalie so it doesn't count as a goal.

3. in-game score updates (in-game popups)

Just like WC2006 and Euro2000, that feature was awesome and it would be great to have it back!

THIS WILL BE AWESOME.. AND REAL TIME.. If a manager is interested he can sign and persue new challenges till the transfer market reopens..

And where are the BURNING FLAMES which are lit up in the crowd when v have come back from 0-3 down to 3-3??? Why the hell are the photographers near the piches in awful 2D?? VERY BAD!!
MAKE them all in 3D and show the flashes from cams in crowds and show burning flames.. MAKE CROWD MOVEMENTS MORE REALISTIC..

In this way EA can get profits by inviting sponsors in game..? Right..? May be…

I want offers from spanish league also..

AWESSSOME!!!!!!! REALISM if this is done!!

We feel that fifa07 is aweome when viewed in a more close up angle using free cam.. The player movements are really wonderful.. But when i shift to TELE cam i find it is not that attractive.. But in PRO EVO TELE cam's position is cool.. I can see the player's biometrics clearly even in that position of cam.. But in fifa when i very closely zoom only i find the biometrics clearly.. We feel tele cam is very high and no zoom.. Even thou it is adjustable in game.. It is still not attractive.. Please position the TELE cam like the cameraman's angle in most television matches.. Provide the needed zoom.. Make it realistic..

Is really really good.. If the patch makers itself can... WHY NOT EA developers??

In the last scrren u show after match..[zoomed out cam] after match in which u can see all players moving out of the pitch all of a sudden[like they're running out from each position] Home team players must stay and wave to crowds if they've won and sit down on the pitch itself after match for sometime.. In that ZOOMED out camera in both FIFA06, 07 is really bad.. Change the cinematics after match..

But in PRO EVO we feel that ratio is perfect and that makes us view the player biometrics also from a height.(TELE) In contrast FIFA06 is really good only when viewed up close in FREE CAM.. Only then the player biometrics is seen.. PLEASE CORRECT THIS..

In FIFA06 we found a flaw.. When i gave a cross from the left wing the ball swung in the air beyond the keepers reach and came down right thru the crossbar from the top.. and bounced on the line then it was cleared by a defender.. The ball did not bounce off the crossbar when the ball came from the top.. It just acted like hollow and let the ball thru making it bounce off the goalline.. Please correct this in FIFA 08.. AND KEEPERS GO THRU POSTS WHILE DIVING... CORRECT THEM TOO...

We feel that fifa07 is aweome when viewed in a more close up angle using free cam.. The player movements are really wonderful.. But when i shift to TELE cam i find it is not that attractive.. But in PRO EVO TELE cam's position is cool.. I can see the player's biometrics clearly even in that position of cam.. But in fifa when i very closely zoom only i find the biometrics clearly.. We feel tele cam is very high and no zoom.. Even thou it is adjustable in game.. It is still not attractive.. Please position the TELE cam like the cameraman's angle in most television matches.. Provide the needed zoom.. Make it realistic..

The ball did not bounce off the crossbar when the ball came from the top.. It just acted like hollow and let the ball thru making it bounce off the goalline.. Please correct this in FIFA 08.. i think the fella saying the huge list of ideas above it good apart from free kick suggestion, fifa 05 free kicks were terrible far too easy and arcady. in 07 realistic free kicks and all set pieces, mabe just make them a little more difficult to get accurate as once mastered easy to score from corners and free kicks, however ea dnt chamge it its finally realistic

yes seeing other leagues will surely improve Manager Mode. Many times I like to look around the world and see where teams are and what good players there are (top scorers for example, notable injuries...etc) ... and I really wish we can do that in FIFA 08

Anybody else annoyed by this?

In Manager Mode, I have my bench and subs set a certain way so I can quickly start each game, and I know where to look if I need to sub anyone. It also influences team chemistry.

For a champions league game, more subs are allowed, so the computer automatically includes extra players from your reserves.

Then, when I return to league games, my bench is all rearranged. I have to go into team management, rearrange all the players back to where they belong and re-save. It's annoying as hell, especially when you're alternating between league games and champions league early on in the season.

It's a small problem, but I've been dealing with for the last 3 editions, and can't understand why they can't correct it.

It'd be nice if they could throw in the option of creating and saving a few squad arrangements that you could select for particular situations. Like a reserve squad you could put in for games against weak opponents, then a champions league arrangement, and of course your regular, starting squad arrangement.

Also, speaking of reserves, they could expand on the youth academy, by having a simulated reserve squad season, where you could develop more of your youth and reserve players. They could give you updates, stats and reports on players to see who's ready for the first team.

Although it's nice to develop players players on the 1st team, most of my reserves, no matter how much I sub them, just drag down the overall morale--if they're not starting, they stay around a zero morale rating, which is annoying. Maybe I'm not managing them right.

i think the morale system should be scrapped its just annoying, team chemistrys ok but having players unhappy that you always play and sub is annoying, or equally distributing player starts through the season makes them 0 morale....

i also nominate this to be a sticky as well as the thread i made up on the messed up faces that ea must fix, cuz ea have to fix it. its well annoyin lol

But trust me, it's VERY useful especially during transfer period. If you only have say 2 or 3 games during the transfer period, then you'll only get 2 or 3 chances to view the transfer market, make offers, wait for responses from other teams..and so on. If you can move to the next day even though you don't have a match, then now every day on the calendar during the transfer period is open for you to do whatever you want. Also, if they add "practice mode" to Manager Mode, you can use your off days to practice. Every other EA Sports title has this feature, I hope FIFA joins too 2. The goalie bug Even though some will consider this a minor problem, but the fact that this hasn't been fixed for like 2 years is what makes it really bad. The player movements are really wonderful.. But when i shift to TELE cam i find it is not that attractive.. But in PRO EVO TELE cam's position is cool.. I can see the player's biometrics clearly even in that position of cam.. But in fifa when i very closely zoom only i find the biometrics clearly.. We feel tele cam is very high and no zoom.. Even thou it is adjustable in game.. It is still not attractive.. Please position the TELE cam like the cameraman's angle in most television matches.. Provide the needed zoom.. Make it realistic.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (1LOOK AT THE BOOTS OF PRO EVO 6: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We felt that fifa 07 boots were really good.. BUT.. When we saw the in game videos and screenshots of Pro Evo[PC] we were amazed.. What realistic boots!!! AWESOME.... Real authentic boots.. Such detail... MAKE REALISTIC ""GREEN"" TURFS PLS.. Go and have a look at the patch makers[non official] turfs for fifa07.. Is really really good.. If the patch makers itself can... In the last scrren u show after match..[zoomed out cam] after match in which u can see all players moving out of the pitch all of a sudden[like they're running out from each position] Home team players must stay and wave to crowds if they've won and sit down on the pitch itself after match for sometime.. In that ZOOMED out camera in both FIFA06, 07 is really bad.. When i gave a cross from the left wing the ball swung in the air beyond the keepers reach and came down right thru the crossbar from the top.. and bounced on the line then it was cleared by a defender.. The ball did not bounce off the crossbar when the ball came from the top.. It just acted like hollow and let the ball thru making it bounce off the goalline.. Please correct this in FIFA 08.. In Manager Mode, I have my bench and subs set a certain way so I can quickly start each game, and I know where to look if I need to sub anyone. It also influences team chemistry. For a champions league game, more subs are allowed, so the computer automatically includes extra players from your reserves. Then, when I return to league games, my bench is all rearranged. I have to go into team management, rearrange all the players back to where they belong and re-save. It's annoying as hell, especially when you're alternating between league games and champions league early on in the season. It's a small problem, but I've been dealing with for the last 3 editions, and can't understand why they can't correct it. It'd be nice if they could throw in the option of creating and saving a few squad arrangements that you could select for particular situations. Like a reserve squad you could put in for games against weak opponents, then a champions league arrangement, and of course your regular, starting squad arrangement. Also, speaking of reserves, they could expand on the youth academy, by having a simulated reserve squad season, where you could develop more of your youth and reserve players. They could give you updates, stats and reports on players to see who's ready for the first team. Although it's nice to develop players players on the 1st team, most of my reserves, no matter how much I sub them, just drag down the overall morale--if they're not starting, they stay around a zero morale rating, which is annoying. Maybe I'm not managing them right.

That is why I think it has to be an option. In online play and maybe all two player games it would be turned off. If you think it would spoil it then don't do it. To me its a video game that I play for fun and I think this would make the game more fun. I'm not sure it is any different than being able to change all my players to 99 if I really want to. An alternative I thought of would be to allow saving a snapshot of the current game at any time and then be able to pull that scenario up in practice mode to start practising from that point.

When I'm coming down the middle and instead of passing to the wing I try a through pass that doesn't get through I would love to be able to replay that and pass to the wing and see what happens. I really don't care if it affects the games outcome but why not make that an option.

I'd like a "natural precedence" in kick takers, what I mean is, what you do is you select in order who you want to take free kicks in a precedence order such as Free Kicks Vicente Quaresma Reo-Coker Hugo Viana In a list of precedence, such as I don't have to set a free kick taker before the game if I take one off, I mean I know I can quick select & change kick taker in game, however it'd be nice so make a list which is easier, if Vicente isn't on, & Quaresma is, then Quaresma is the freekick taker, if both Vicente & Quaresma aren't on, & Reo-coker is, then Reo-coker is the kick taker... same with Captain, Corners & Penalties... such would just be more convenient.

A-league should be in there, especially considering Australia showed the world in Germany that we are a worthy football nation. (We would of one the world cup if it wasn't for the big swan diving italians... barstards heheh) Also the celebrations after goals could be improved, and wen u win the premiership or trophy there should be more celebrations. They show more of the opposition shaking hands with the referee then the team that won the cup. they should have it like the Gwermany World Cup game and show the confetti in the air and be alot more realistic. This would make the game so much more real and give u a sense of accomplishment!! For Keyboard controls they should make skills easier to use.. takes to long to get the hang of the double stepover etc and flip-flap make it easier like certain keys..e.g (f) = stepover)... the dynamic weather is good although it could be better... it rains and stops which makes in unpredictable but like there could be massive storms, hail, sleet, maybe snow in european countries... or like sun showers.... also they haven't put much shadowing in forwexample of the staduim taking up a quarter of the field... Crowd could also be a little more realistic and they could show the avatar of the coach jumping up and down or throwing his arms around on the sideline when a team goes 1 up in the grandfinal or is loosing... Also mangermode more comprehensive... Should be able to trial youth players and watch them play before signing them up like a 5 min match and pick who u want to select i think that would be a great feature... Those are a few ideas ay
