yep I've heard few of these while playing

there are many players on FIFA that the commentator doesnt pronounce their names .... on NHL, u can choose a play-by-play name that the commentator will use wen u get the puck/ball.

so u can add this option Edit Players or Create A Player ... the play-by-play names list shud include:

a- most common names --first or last names--(John, Smith, Jason, Mark..etc)

b- the names that the commentator say in the game (for example: Beckham, Ronaldo, Totti..etc ... those are not common names but since the commentator says them, why not put them on the list and its not like Totti is the only "Totti" in the world).

c- nicknames ... yes maybe somewut unrealistic, but wudnt be cool/funny that u create a player or edit ur favourite player and let the commentator say something like "'The Master' gets the ball" ... i mean its a video game and this will add some fun to it.

yeh but you see if EA add the mechanical motor/buggy- strecthers, then their would probably be a glitch or bug in the cutscene where the driver drives over the player's broken leg, making the injury worse. Then they would be super evil and twisted.

Hehehe. I like funny people, but EA is not funny at all. Like, how could a guy limp to the sides if he's ankles is totally twisted. At least put him in a stretcher or something.

i have four simple words that can pretty much describe what they should do for fifa 2008:

"Everything fifa 2006 had."

After you make your club and u get to the player selection screen, the screen should show you:
A. Team Overall Rating (or star rating).
B. Total Player Salaries (per week)

I was trying to make crappy team (50 or 40 overall and lower) and start a career, I put started budget at £100,000. However as I was adding players, I didn't know if I was adding really crappy players, or I'm putting too good players (compared to the teams in my league). Say I wanted my team to be a 1-star team. I wouldn't know if I can "afford" to have say 10 players in the 30's (overall), 5 in the 40's, and two or three in the 50's.

Similarly, I wouldn't know (without seeing how much salaries i'll pay every week) if I'm going to run into a financial trouble or not (I'm not expecting to see the entire "Financial Predictions" screen, just the Total Salaries will do anlalalalala the rest of the work like figuring out how much my sponsor will give me and stuff like that --because I know which league im going to, but the game doesn't).

So yeah ... having the overall rating of the team (or star rating) would really be a great addition because some people (at least me ) like to force themselves to certain "rules", and one of the most common ones are say "don't exceed a 1-star or 2-star rating" (just an example) ... others want a 3-star rating and so on .... and it's really hard unless u create the team and u do the player selection but then you have to go back and forth to kick-off mode to see the rating, and go back and edit the squads

fifa 07 is a great game but still needs to be greatly improved yet again, first the tackling if uve every played world tour soccer the althuogh its a rubbish game the defending is great evrey time you press the tackle button he tackles waether your a mile away from your oppoinent or not so it responds good fifas tackling should be like that and it does make it easy to foul but its more realistic. manager needs to impove like team chemistry and morale needs to be better like you win the cup and play realy good your team chemtry still low and all your midfeilders allways seem to be unhappy with a low morale and there should be injuries through training on manager mode to make it more realistic like on manager games and the fatiuge should be like it was on 06. also its realy strange how on some staduims the waether cant be changed to overcast/rainy.

In the transfer period... we can buy, sell and loan players... what about player swaps? This should be included. The ability to view what is going on in other leagues.

Yeah! like if you don't have enough money, why not add a player or just swap a player with another team! I also want to loan players anythime, for emergency purposes.

Dunno if any of this has already been posted, but we should have the option to edit more than 40 players (PS2). There should be no less than 80 edits.

We should still be able to view all the player info in the edit screen including talent even after all edits have been used.

We should also be able to create more than 16 players. 24 players is fair.

We should be able to name created players with their pseudonym only. A first name should not be required.

Created players should be allowed to have names longer than 10 characters. 12 characters for first name and 18 for the last name or pseudonym should suffice. (good thing they already included Vennegoor of Hesselink )

Youth academy players should actually come from the country their team is in. I have managed a few of the teams in Mexico and I don't remember a single youth player coming from Mexico or the Americas for that matter (mostly Andorra, Austria, and Belgium).

Divide the search areas up more. Instead of Americas, how about Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and US have their own search areas.

There should be prize money for the winners of cups and leagues.

Edit: there should be an option for two players on free kicks, one for right-footed shots, and another for lefty shots.

Also, ball physics and player physics need a lot of improvement. Gravity and inertia should be the same for both player and computer.

The computer's perfect crossing on higher difficulties should also be addressed.

The money given to us by sponsors should increase when you have a productive season.... winning the league, league cup, english cup and ECC etc.

Yeah! Even if Wycombe have already won a lot of silverware, I still only get 14k per game...

I think a career training mode would be great. There would be different drills you could play to earn skill points for your player.

The announcers need more emotion. I think what makes the fifa 07 announcers boring is that they show no emotion. They need to be excited when they say something about a goal or a shot just wide.

Having read through pretty much all of the suggestions here, i havent seen anyone mention what I talked about in a post yesterday...

The lack of goals scored by midfielders and also the inability to choose how attacking the corners are.

The first problem could be easily sorted... why not in a Pro Evo style (tsssssssssss) way be able to pinpoint the position of a player? I would also like a lot more support on the wings from both wide players and full backs. Even with WP tactic selected, the options are dismal. Support from midfield is even worse! Get a ball up to the front 2 and it is very rare that you will see the central midfielders running ahead and joining in the attack.

With regards to the corners... This is the thing that p****s me off most about fifa. Like I said yesterday, I would like to see 2 things... so simple yet so effective to adding to the realism of the game. 1) The ability to decide who attacks the corners. My example was of Gary Neville being in there ready for the headers lol... I want Rio and Vidic attacking my crosses! Get the big guns up! This has always been a big downfall on fifa in my opinion... 2) How many attack the corners. Okay, your 1-0 up in the 85th minute with a corner... you dont want 7 or 8 Players attacking the cross do you lol... and vice versa, 1-0 down with 2 minutes to go you want to throw everything but the kitchen sink... Like I said, it would only add to the realism and these things have really agitated me over the years I have played Fifa. Meh, I say the same things everyyear but we know we got fat chance in hell of any of it being sorted.

Thanks for listening to the rant guys, and if the EA guys need any more suggestions I got a whole list of em here...

Cheers

OOoo, i forgot...

To the guy with the suggestion about the free kicks? Well you have always been able to change the kick taker and in 07, I DO like the way if you hold the R1 button you can change there and then... awesome.

i think they should let us put the world xi and classic xi teams in the tournaments, and also let us manage international teams in manager mode(just like in football manager)

I think for 08 they should involve the fifa world club championship into carrear mode. plus,

injuries must play a much bigger role in the seoson. players should suffer thigh strains or minor injuries that could keep them out for a couple of weeks. and even make the keepers seseptable to injury as it is rather pointless having 3 or even 2 keepers if there is no risk of a forced change. look wat happened to cech and cudicini.

it would also be kool for more features for the youth academy because its a great idea. maybe you could keep tabs on there progress in terms of goals, assits, clean sheets etc.

also a similar feature for the transfer market. a short summary of how they have performed for there respective club. for example:

name: Palacio
club: boca juniors
Goals: 14
apperances: 24
assists:3
clean sheets:0
Y cards:3
R cards:0

and plus with this feature say you've played 3 seasons you should still be able to see how they did for previous seosons.

thats it for now though, thanx.

Improve the online features. Have a chat feature and/or microphone chat when playing against an opponent.

The interface needs updating too, when the room is full, it won't let you change rooms!

The biggest reason for me buying this game was online play, so that's a huge thing for me!

More tricks too! I love doing tricks, it's one of the best parts. Make them difficult, but not too difficult so that no one can do them and not too easy so that anyone can!!

Hmm what else..........

If you can create every kit in the game, why not do every stadium, that would be brilliant, instead of the rubbish generic grounds.

One massive thing is being able to control the keeper more. You should be able to fully control the keeper in one on ones. Use the control to dive for a save etc!!!!!!!!

That is all...for now

In manager mode.

I won the first season as ein.frankfurt coming first and i won the cup.

When i went to change clubs in the uk, the only places that offered me a contract were lower division clubs, since when would that happen in real life?

And why can't you change teams in the middle of the season like in real life???

How do you get 8 prestige points.

I have done 4 season, winning championships in three, and cups in all!

I only have 4!
