Is it possible to have movement on D-pad and tacktics on left analog? I tried just switching the axis (like instead of 1&0 for movement and 0 for tacktics used 1&0 for tacktics and 0 for movement) but my pad went wild after that

I tried doing this but the game just wont save the changes. I say that I do want to overwrite the previous setting, it says saved but when I go to conrols next time it has movement on analog again. The same happens when I try to change player autoswitch settings for game pad, but when I change anything for keyboard or button configurations for game pad everything is saved

hi to all!! I'm new here

May I ask why EA doesn't try to solve the problem (it's clear that regards almost the totality of the players) in a definitive way?

this is a bit of a joke, people have to go through all this just to get there pads working just so they can play the game how it was meant to be played.

pro evo 5 is so easy to set up,
you just goto setitngs its got a list of controls in the style of a ps2 pad then you jsut assign the button, its that simple even works with stoneage pad form like 6 years ago. EA have been making games for well over 10 years yet that cant inculde something so simple. Either there lalalalalalaed , dont think about such things or they just care about making money. My suggestion is all 3, they dont care about us gamers so long as they have another super car to park in there drive way.

Gonna be returning my copy t and trade it for compay of heros and wait for pro evo 6 to come out

the main reason why the right stick doesnt work is bcos the default controller purposely doesnt include the right stick controls so i suggest adding these

Code:
,5|24|3,5|25|4,2|26|5,2|27|6
or
Code:
,2|24|3,2|25|4,5|26|5,5|27|6
-if stick is inverted

to the end of every one of the 3 lines in the [default pad|default] settings. so far i see you guys are not bothered reading page 1 bcos you know i will help. well i am going away so you got to learn to help yourselves

is there any way to play online multiplayer using the NEW CONFIGURATION TYPE gamepad, instead of the default Classic one which forces us to play with?

Can you help me with my controller?

I read the first stuff and the mapping is really confusing.

I tried the super patch and it makes everything work perfect besides the RIGHT ANALOG stick.

Everytime I tried those setting you put, and delete the xpad.dll file or whatever, my game wont start. I have reinstalled so many times.

I am using a GGE909. Game Elements gamepad. Basically EXACTLY like a PS2 controller except it has little xtra buttons to make mouse move when not in a game. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i previously had a really cheap ps2 lookalike analogue joypad that had the right analog stick prob. i was able to fix this controller. but there was a problem with the cancel/dummy move button. it doesn't work. so i bought a new logitech rumblepad which did not need any tweaking or fixing to get the right analogue stick to work. but still i cannot use the cancel/dummy move button. any reason why. i know for sure this is not a prob with the new joypad.

Ok being the lazy person I am I used your update and my controller works fine now apart from that the circle and square (or where they would be they are one and four on my controller) are now in the wrong order, ie square is shoot. Also what would be L1 is L2 and L2 is L1 so i need to press L2 to chip in a shot. What would be L1 on my controller is 5 and L2 is 6. I am using a logic 3 controller. Any suggestions?

hi everybody! Nice tutorial.
I've a question for you avok: why the .dll file have to be deleted? I'm curious...

Another thing...here there's a list that I'm making up on FifaMania.it. It includes some joystick with the relative devdata configuration

http://italia.soccergaming.com/forum...howtopic=12522
(Obviously it's in Italian but the controller's name and the configurations are clear )

Bye

my sincerest apologies for going awol(winning eleven 10 + college exam + heartbreak of the saddest order lol). But there have been so many people tht i dont even go to msn as often as i used to. People you need to first try the tutorial then ask me for help. if you are to lazy to try them then download the patches.

PS> to the person who complained about square bieng the shoot button. this is fixable if you just look at the tutorial. shange just 2 numbers and tada. I prefered the pes setting with square being the shoot button.

Can you please tell where will the vibration work for a game controller in FIFA 07, I mean when will the controller vibrate?? There is a option that enables the vibration in the game controller in FIFA 07 control settings...but what exactly does it do? Please reply..

I cant believe that is not mentioned the issue with the online play. In online and Multiplayer IP , FORCES us to play with the Classic Configuration type, which is Shoot-Marking, Pass-Change Player. A lot of player play with the NEW one, is there any way to fix that? Or if we edit some parametres to do the classic configuration control type look exactly like the NEW.
