Introducing Banner Ad's By Fangree

We have launched a new community feature called Banner Ad's By Fangree over at The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site.

Banner Ad's By Fangree lets Sims fansite owners advertise there sites for Free by adding there banner with a link to there site. Banners must be 468 x 60 will appear in the center panel at the top of the site, banner owners can track there statistics.

We Bought New Decent Hosting, Wooooo!

You may have noticed that The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site was down for the past couple of days, the reason for this is that we have finally got round to buying decent hosting which gives us loads more disk space, a faster server, and lots of other benefits to help improve the site.

Over the last 2 days we have been working around the clock to get the site back up as quickly and swiftly as possible and we are pleased to say that the move was a success and all work is complete.

The Database has been transfered from the old free host so we have not lost any content.
If you were registered with the site you still are, so there is no need to worry about having to register again.

Since the move we took the opportunity to clean up the site and some changes have came into action, you will notice that the news is back to the default PHP-Fusion layout, we have a new logo and some other new images.

Position: Content Manager
No of positions: 1

The Content Manager is responsible for posting News, new pages, and making sure all the content on the site is up to date.
The Content Manager will manage Site News, Articles DB, Screenshots DB and Video DB.

Requirements
To apply for this position you must be over 16 Years of age and proof of age may be required.
For Site communication Purposes you are required to have MSN Messenger.

What We Ask
We will be looking for someone who is a big fan of The Sims, Sims 2 and 3 and who has played Sims games for over 2 Years. The accepted candidate must also be on-line most of the time, and who has previous experience of Website Management and HTML, however Training will be given.

The Submissions Manager will be in charge of reviewing and approving Articles, Images, Videos and Links submitted by site members to our Databases.

What We Ask

The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site is open so that we can follow the development of The Sims 3 right up to the release and beyond.
Our aim for now is to give fans and players of The Sims all the latest Sims 3 Development, gaming, and community News and other useful Sims 3 info.

The main reasons the site is open so early before TS3 is even released is to build up a Community and a good reputation before there are to many TS3 Fansites to compete with, as the saying go's "The Early Bird Catches The Worm".

The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site is getting bigger all the time and we up date at least 3 times a week if not more. If there is no news from EA for a while we will always do our best to keep the site alive.

The Forums are starting to get more active all the time, and there are some interesting discussions regarding The Sims 3 happening, two of which are What do you want to see?, and Do You Like What You Have Seen So Far?
New Members are always welcome and the more people who join and use the forums the more fun they will be.
