Fangree Productions Statement

The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site is open again!

First off we would like to apologize for the site being off-line for so long, the reason this happened was we were upgrading the forums which then basically destroyed the forum tables, we then lost the site backup which made me angry so I decided to close the site until the release of PHP-Fusion V7.

However we received a lot of emails from members and visitors wondering where the site had gone and we feel the site should not be off line to long, so i decided to bring it back and worry about upgrading later.
Lucky for us after a few days of searching I found a recent site back up and I restored it and now the site is back to it's normal functioning state.

Once again sorry for the interruptions.

I am very pleased to announce that The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site upgrade was a success.

The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site Version 2.0 Live is powered by the newly released software PHP-Fusion V7.

The site has had a major upgrade and a lot has changed and improved.
First off you will notice the site theme is new and looks rather modern and stylish.
The general layout of the site is different and the way content is presented is different.

I would like to thank the Community for visiting the site since we opened in February and we would like everyone to know we have had a staggering 682,489 unique visits since we opened which is well more hits than we expected.

The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site is continually developing and improvements are being implemented all the time.

Every day is a good day over at The Unofficial Sims 3 UK Site, the community is slowly getting more active and our forums are getting on avarage around 100+ posts a day by our regular and loyal members. Everyone is welcome to come over and join us on the site, there is plenty for you to see and do. Our forums are our main feature and that is where things are going on they are quite active which is great and since upgrading to V2.0 we have lots of new features on our forums like new BBCodes including youtube Embed BBCode, MP3 Embed BBCode and lots more, there are also polls which can be created by the community and voted in.

... how long did you spend thinking about that one? It seems strange to use a subdomain after so long using a dedicated domain name.

Any link you've posted anywhere using the thesims3uk.co.uk domain name is now just going to redirect to the news page at the new subdomain.

Seems a bit backwards, that does.
