only reason i would have used one would be for the login areas, though having never really used one it might not be the same for other people.

No, I know that ... but what is it that people "can't" do that a CMS does for them?

Do you not think they encourage laziness?

How long have you been using a Nuke/Fusion/Other CMSs now?

What have you learnt?

I seem to remember you complaining about the fact the fansite section is so dead... the admins move it to the index and locate it towards the top and you still don't like it?

Hard to please much?

Bad idea. It would make the forums look too cluttered again - moving and merging forums was done to prevent this.

Well, your silly. Having more fansites working in here is much better - Dtr has more people to persuade him to do things, and everyone else has more sites to learn from.

The busier this forum is, the better your fansite will be.

Thats what i assume anyway.

In other news...

I've been thinking of reviving Remora's old php scripts thread with some new helpful scripts and things - would like to know if it's worth it and what you would want in it, would probably be open to people wanting to learn php aswell.

Right then. So you guys think you know what you're talking about

I'm looking to build a website, I know basic HTML and am wanting it to be relatively pain free (not having to months of prior reading). How would you guys advise me to start?
