Default Why I might like this game

Facebreaker looks good, I think, because I like a good beat 'em up, and it has the fun factor too

It looks like a new version of Mike Tyson's Punch Out

Marks for game
3 out of 10

A few qualms with this game.
Its supposed to be a boxing game. So why are some of the charachters able to do kung fu moves? Kicks, knees, disappearing guys, dudes spitting voodoo lalalala at you.
Are EA running out of money, to pay a few boxers image rights that they came up with this?
This is more akin to a Streetfighter title rather than any of the Fight Night series.
Why no replays on Facebreakers or good knock-outs?

If your into boxing games, keep your copy of Fight Night 3, rather than shell out for this half arsed pseudo boxing lalalala.

Thanks for your comments.

phonik - Facebreaker isn't meant as a replacement for the Fight Night Series, if it's Fight Night that you are after then Fight Night Round 4 has been announced.

It could have been better, just that it had been made out as a boxing game. Not fighting...boxing. To come up against characters whose main moves are kicks is very misleading.

Whats the news on FN 4?

It's set to come out on the PlayStation3 and Xbox360 in 2009, you can find more information here.
