like how come that you cannot change defensive / offensive or any tactic while the opponent is having a free kick ? you may want to play a offside tactic or tell your team to stay offensive for a counter attack.
this was easily done in fifa 09.

another downgrade is, lets say you play Barcelona or any other team were you have tall CB like PIQUE. would you want him in the WALL from a SIDE freekick witch is obviously gonna end up as a cross? (even the default FK tacker changes assuming people want to cross from this positions) but you will end up with you tallest best header defender in the lalala wall and iniesta and xavi trying to get a hold of tall strikers in the penalty box. not funny :x


about the direction in witch the attacker runs, what is that for if
is not going to work ? you are playing 4-3-3 with LW ST RW
then you indicate the wingers to run to the outside of the pitch and the ST to run straight forward (towards the penalty point that is) the reason ?
(tall ST for headers small and fast wingers for crosses). then you run with the winger along the line to get in a cross position and the striker runs towards you until he gets 15feet from you nowhere near a heading position
but guess how is in the penalty point... your right the other not good for headers small winger. lalalalala.:x

jokey and running jokey are so difficult to stop or change direction that have became sort of disadvantage to use them. if you try to jokey
a RW with your LBW to prevent him from crossing and he is running strait along the line and he suddenly cuts his run and decide to turn 90 degrees to the penalty box you'll find out that your LBW didnt stop even when you move your joystick fractions of a sec before he moved you'l get a big delay on the reaction. if the explanation is that defender have to stop and start running the other way well forwards have to control the ball to make turn also and thats not a excuse . anyway in fifa 09 this was not such a big problem specially when you where playing online.

such a negative post .. i know ... it's just so frustrating, most of this was not a problem to be fixed.

PES is a joke. FIFA10, for all it's "so-called" flaws, absolutely murders PES!!! I was honestly shocked by almost every aspect of the game. the only thing i can do is delete my settings and it makes the buttons work but it deleted my pro EVERYTIME, thus... i've gotten squad leader and a almost 80 rated player built up three times and each time the roster thing has messed up causing the game to break causing me to have to delete settings to get it to work and then it doesnt recognize my pro even though its saved in BAP season and i can play him but from main menu BAP goes straight to "Create a pro" ..this means i cannot play multiplayer or use my pro in anything but the saved season that will have a bugged roster and start subbing people out of my reserves that never play to replace the guys named -304890298 or whatever and then it starts making all my strikers numbers thus having my whole scoring section subbed out for the worst players on the team.


THIS IS BROKEN, CLEARLY. Ea hasnt responded in a week after saying "They've forwarded it to the development team".

as an example:

A opponent is running throw the wing and I'm doing pressure on him, but I see that the opponent is triggering a run with another player... and my defender just WATCHES him running through.. I try to switch player quickly so that I can rectify the marking on the guy who ran through but the player that is selected as NOTHING to do with the action, so basically: the guy running with the ball can make the whole run and the other one is completely free of marking, this happens a infinite number of times.

Something else: when I pass to a player and I want him to run in the direction of the ball so he doesn't get anticipated, I try to make him run but he just stays there.. and conclusion, he get's anticipated.

What about when the ball is loose and no one get's there but your defender is watching and you press the button to clear the ball away.. but he just watches...

Am I missing something?
