Hey,

Ok so I decided to give this game a go and had seen a few vids before on it, so had a rough idea of what is happening and what to do, started playing and did the first stage and that was plenty of fun, maybe a little short but it was all nicely created and kept me busy.

Onto stage 2 which I think was the most fun, slowly moving up and collecting new features for my character and building up, I think I spent the most time playing this stage, I did have 1 crash when I got to stage 3 and had not saved it and had to start stage 2 in middle again, but no big deal, but again I think stage 2 was the best for me, there was plenty to run around and do and aswell as creating the toon aswell.

Stage 3 now all the right ideas were there but, I think I finished it in less than 2 hours it was so easy, once I killed the first 2 computers I was just far to strong for the others and it was just a walk over, I didnt mind how it was all controled it was fun, however it was just way to short and just way to easy.

Stage 4 just turned into a real time strategy game which its very boring I must say, sorry that stage is just bad :( ... I have nothing really to comment on that..

Stage 5 - was fun for awhile but it got boring and too easy again after awhile...

Overall I think the first 3 stages were great and stage 3 a little short though, I did play the game on hardest and it was just far to easy when I finished the entire game in a day without even playing it before, the game is really nice though, it just lacks depth and things to do in some areas.

Stage 4 and 5 I think the only thing I got away from it was creating the cars and aircrafts, the buildings side were limited and boring on what you could do, but it seemed to lack control over your cell that you created in the other stages, I mean I created him I wanted to use him for battle!!! :P

Other than that, its not too bad but could be alot better!!

Hey all!

I was just wondering what are your Ideas for new expansions and add ons for Spore?

For example I would really like Maxis to bring out a Robotics parts park, Eletronic Limbs, Hands, feet, Details and even heads. Also something that would allow a captain to pilot vehicles on galactic adventures.

Let me know ;)

I would love to play Spores but alas i cant even get past the downloader stage, i have never come across so many problems loading a game!!!:cry:, in fact it is time to give up before my computer receives a nasty injury, and return the game, its no good if the downloader wont accept the authentiction code. I think EA/Maxis games are good but if they say you have to activate on line with any other games I FOR ONE WONT BUY THEM

EA Download Manager a sick joke

I'm furious! :x I have the game installed on 2 seperate computers- and I was unsure if I had the latest spore patch installed on my laptop so I tried checking the EA download manager- only to find no information anywhere about my games, only blank screens and having it insist that my CD-key was already being used by it! I gave up- finding that luckily I had the patch installed already- but as soon as I returned to the game it was full of new weird glitches that made it unplayable!
So I go onto my other comp with spore installed that did NOT have the glitches and I find it doesn't have the latest patch so I try the EA download manager again- not only does it not work again but when I go to the game its got the SAME weird glitches on this computer now! Since the game worked fine on both computers before I tried using the EA download manager it has to be what ruined my game.
Is the download manager really this glitched or is this EA's idea of a sick joke?
