I previously owned the PS1 & PS2 and the great Knockout Kings (as it once was), I think that one was the best ever, KK '99 with Mills Lane in, which also featured and the classy Jimmy Lennon Jr, thats what I miss in Fight Night tbh. Anyway Fifa is my number one game, I have owned every copy Fifa since Fifa 1996 and I can't wait to get cracking with 2010. That lasted until I tried to burn my first DVD post installing BV. It took me at least 15 tries to get the DVD to burn, and it turns out that that one and any later DVDs I've had trouble burning are unreadable by my PC. What was I burning to disk I hear you ask? My backup of my Sims 2 data. Well done EA, the only thing I burn to DVD is saved game data, a common practise, and you have made it more difficult for me to do that. I've resorted to splitting the folder and burning to multiple CDs now.

The fact that this new version of SecuROM wants you to authenticate it when you first install and then validate every 10 days and every time you download new data for your game has made me so mad. There are too many variables for things to go wrong, and any way if I buy and register the product when I get it, why do they need to keep checking up on me? As for the three installs thing ... have they not heard of computers malfunctioning and needing to be replaced or reformatted? I have installed the base game three times now, once on my laptop when I got the game, once after my laptop had to be reformatted, and once on the desk top I have now. With the new version of SecuRoM that would be it, if my PC went kaput or I had to un-install because of a glitch, bye bye sims. That is out of order, once I have paid for the product I should be allowed to install it as many times as I want.

I will not be buying any more EA products, I don't care if they are removing the 10 day activation from some games, this software shouldn't be on any. Software like this does not dis-encourage piracy, pirates will find a way around anything you throw at them, all this does is alienate true fans and loyal customers. I am sure that many who would never have thought of it will now resort to piracy if this software is included in future releases.

I am a PC Gamer and have been for a fair few years now, primarily for the FPS games which I play almost exclusively.

I was introduced to PC Online game by a friend - my first experience was BF 1942.

From there, I got into Battlefield 2 in a major way and that lead me to my current gaming Community ZiiP.

We have grown as a community since the BF2 days, moving into BF2142 and then its the COD series, due the lack of an EA alterantive.

We are now priming ourselves for the future release of Battlefield Bad Company 2 (PC). I have to say that we are all excited about this up coming title and can see this as being around as long as Battlefield 2.

The Squad play improvements look excellent and will help keep this game at the top.

I am married (no children) and have been for 16 years this January.
