I also didn't get man of the match for either game? What is going on here?


Also, there was something weird that would happen in FIFA 09 where my progress bar would get stuck. I could not earn a positive no matter what I did until I did something that gave me a negative (and no, I didn't already have a 10.0 rating). It seems that the problem has gotten worse with FIFA 10. I went into a recent halftime with an 8.6 rating. I finished the game with a 7.0 because the whole entire second half the game would not give me a positive until well into injury time. I was able to get 2 at the very end, and that was it. And, this is not a case of me not playing well, as I was able to assist on the winning goal (which didn't show up in my accomplishments). after copy savegames i can play with my pro in the pro season, but in the arena or in the online virtual pro games the pro does not exist.

anyone knows in which savegame the virtual pro is?

So when I scored a hat trick in semi-pro using my virtual pro, it did not register it as an accomplishment reached! I am an Arsenal fan and my love of Fifa has always been the accuracy of Player Names, Club Names and Player Attributes along with the general gameplay.

However, for the past two versions many things have got me thinking that EA aren't listening to supporters of the game.

Starting with physical statistics, things like height and weight. I feel that if these things are important within the game engine then they ought to be accurately researched. Something akin to Championship Manager.

Things such as -

Gael Clichy - 6'0" tall according to Fifa. When he only comes in at 5'9 1/2"
Robin van Persie - 6'0" tall according to Fifa. When in reality he is 6'2" according to opta stats.
Darren Fletcher - 6'0" tall according to Fifa. Reality: 6'2"

Other things such as -

Thomas Vermaelen - Acc 70 + Sprint 72

Where in interviews on opposing players have revealed he is one of the fastest and most difficult defenders to come up against.

Johann Djourou - Acc 69 + Sprint 76

I defy anyone to correctly argue that when seeing Djourou run that he is below the speed of Robin van Persie, Rio Ferdinand and others.

There is a common consensus that Arsenal lack the necessary Experience and age to win a title, and I am not denying this right now. What I am denying though is that there is one thing all Arsenal players have. That is pace. Lots of it! The number of times I've seen Gael Clichy skin Cristiano Ronaldo for pace. The number of times I've seen Thomas Vermaelen outpace every defence he has played against. All in the flesh, from section 108 at the Emirates stadium.

Surely EA must see the light and correct stupid errors like this?
