Default The Bandalite Family

The Bandalites are your average family, with two parents and two children in it.

They love their music, and also love to go on holidays, but only to exotic places like China and Australia.

Currently they live in a happy but slightly too modern neighbourhood of Belladonna Cove

More info to come

+ Jessy's Diary - Entry 1

Dear Diary,

I really feel the urge to open a nightclub downtown after buying this new house! I want to go shopping for expensive shoes! I want to go on lots of holidays! I want to live the life of a Queen! We might even have enough money for a holiday home!

But on a more realistic side, I heard Mickey muttering that he wants to be a chef. And it's really strange that there's supposed to be a world-famous chef coming to the neighbourhood soon at exactly the same time. I wonder what's going on? Earlier on, when he was talking to me, I think he said something about having another child, but I wasn't really concentrating and anyway I'm sure we wouldn't have the room for another one.

I checked our bank account earlier, and it seems to say that we bought some 'Mansion' but I swear our house isn't a mansion, even if it is quite large. Sophia would like us to go on holiday straight away, and I think we should, as we don't want to take the kids away when they're only just getting settled into school. I'm also worried about Jay as he's tucking himself away in his bedroom all the time, just lying in bed staring at the ceiling.

Sophia went out last night, and I'm not sure what she was doing, but I did see some graffiti on the underpaths when I went to the shops earlier today. She seems to have taken this house right into her heart, and is already asking whether she can get all the latest gismos for her bedroom. I'm not sure what to do, she's annoying me a lot and I might just have to give in, but I don't want to.

Jessy

+ Jay's Diary - Entry 1

Dear Diary,

We just moved into our new house and I HATE it. However, my Mum and Dad love it, as does Sophia, and they keep on asking me why I don't like, but I won't tell them. The reason is that it's just too modern, and I won't tell them because I know they'll all call me a Chav, especially Sophia.

My bedrom is of course the smallest one, but I have one consolation in that it is right next to the street so I will hear the comforting noise of cars when I try to get to sleep! It's really one big joke. To make it worse, Mum and Dad sleep in the room next door, so I will have to put up with Mum's constanst snoring. She's falling asleep everywhere at the moment, even once when she was driving, and it was lucky that Dad was on hand to stop us crashing. We went to the hospital with her, but they said she was 'A medical mystery.'

I am hoping to get a piano for my room, but I expect that the rest of my family will all get guitars and noisy drumkits. I probably won't even be able to hear myself over the din. Also, I would love to have a TV so I can watch all the cookery and news reports, although I doubt Mum would approve of me cooking in her kitchen. She probably wouldn't mind that much if I made the meal each night though. Now, there's a thought! I fancy that my parents would let me cook if it was their meals I was making.

Both of my parents are currently unemployed, but they are on a search for a suitable job and I'm sure they will find it, they are really clever even if they don't look it. My Dad really wants to work in the music industry, while Mum is thinking about opening here own nightclub. I think that opening a nightclub would be a seriously bad idea, as I know something would go wrong and we'd end up with the police round our house.

Sophia loves the idea of the nightclub, she takes after her mother in that she is extremely outgoing, but she does have her vulnerable side, as I saw when I sneaked a camera into her room and spotted her playing with her dolls. Of course, as soon as she heard Mum coming up the stairs she cleared them away hurriedly.

I'm hoping there's a cookery club round here, and I would love to meet the world-famous chef who is supposed to be opening a business around here. I can't remember what his name was, but I think he lives near us because I saw lots of paparazzi round our way this morning.

Jay

Just a quick note, it's not a problem to reserve posts as you have done or make updates to the story, other times please use the edit button to add to a post.

You seem to have made a good start there, I'll look forward to how the story develops.
