I was thinking about doing something like a diary saying what my sims are doing and lots of other stuff too. Post pictures and all of that too.

So what do you guys think? It would be updated every few days up until the release of Sims 3.

And if you think I should do it, what type of family should I start?

I'll set a poll up in a moment

any one? I just saw the diaries section, but they seem to be just one post. I'd do one post for each day in my sims life,

I've moved your poll to the diaries forum, since that's where it's more appropriate.

I'd be interested in your diary, this forum used to be very popular with sims players, with stories covering many pages and quite a few chapters. I suspect it may revive somewhat after The Sims 3 is released. Good luck with your diary if you choose to start one.

I'll do it in the diaries section seeing as this has been moved there

I'll set it up at 3:00pm. I'll do a timeline and some stuff about my characters. I will use one of the houses that I have built previously, I have a good one that I love. It will be in the neighbourhood with all of the holiday destinations, I can't remember which one it is.

So how many characters should I have and what age should they be?

The house has 3 or 4 bedrooms I think, but I can have bunk beds as I downloaded them

If your story is set in one of the holiday neighbourhoods, maybe either use a family of four, a traditional two adult and two children family holiday; or how about just two adults on a romantic break.

Well they'll have a few holidays, but willl live in pleasantview or maybe a created neighbourhood. Two adults and two children sounds good, but I might just do two adults and one child? how does that sound?

Sounds fine to me, it's up to you though, it's your game and your story. Let your imagination run wild.
