I'll start it off.. Okay, random necromorphs. The kind that drops down and instantly starts grabbing you, with you needing to tap a button to escape, and the kind that you fight.
For the ones that drop down and grab you instantly, put maybe 50 of these in the game all in different places. For a easy run, maybe 2 of these will only ever happen to you. For a normal, maybe 5-8 For hard, 10-15 For Impossible, 20 or more This way it will keep the game fresh everytime you play, as there will always be scares you have not yet experienced (For atleast 3 playthroughs of like impossible..) same goes for the normal necros that you just have to shoot that jump out of everywhere.. that would work great imo. Any other suggestions?

definetely the plasma cutter and line gun have to be back , also I would like to see more big boss battles, too bad there was only 2 in the original dead space (the levathian, and the hive mind), I did not care for the meteor shower, so I hope they don't bring that back.

Oh yeah, that would be so great! Nail their legs to the wall and watch them rip themselves apart to get you :O
Also, I think it'd be nice if you had another survivor with you sometimes. Someone you could really bond with, who isaac would talk to and engage with. Then, when they inevitabley die you will feel like a small part of you died. |

a melee weapon like the light sword thing in dead space downfall, maybe having a squad so you can play multi player, i would love to see the random encounter necro's from above, a wider range of necro's with different abilities, lots of mini games to mess around on to relax and hone different skills, new setting for example a high security prison which means tons of things to slaughter

I just want a good continuation of the storyline, there's just so much potential. But also so much room for failure.
And I also want a satisfying conclusion this time, I just cant stand those cheap horror-B-movie endings. An update to Issacs fate would be cool for me. Gameplaywise, I hope they dont change too much. I personally wouldnt like playing on a planetary surface. I liked the feeling being on a big piece of metal floating in space, surrounded by enemies with nowhere to escape. |

Ditto, I think the only time I really noticed I was on a planet was when I was escorting the marker to activate it, saw those tentacles :O I think they dragged you to the planet because the Hive Mind was too big for the ship >

Deeper story and more formal cut scenes. I know the Dead Space story itself is deep but I want it to be told in forms other then random documents. Other then that the game is virtually perfect. Oh and no mute main characters.

Hello there,
I just finished this game a few days ago and I want to extend my thanks to all concerned for a job well done. Probably the most atmospheric game I've ever played, great pacing too. I eagerly await the sequel (and movie?) and to that end here are a few suggestions. 1. More Bosses: Painfully few bosses in the first game and this is only one of the few complaints I could muster. 2. More Weapons: I found the Plasma Cutter, Line Gun and Ripper very satisfying. The Plasma Rifle was useful in certain circumstances (tracers on that gun would make it way cooler). However, the other guns seemed a bit less useful and satisfying. The Flamethrower could be improved by allowing it to set fire to the ground. I second the idea someone already mentioned for a Bolt Gun that can pin enemies to walls for easier dismemberment. A Disintigrator would be nice (a weapon that automatically uses enough ammo to disintigrate a limb - provided you have enough ammo to do so). A Particle Accelerator, the longer you beam up the shot the more damage it does (and the more ammo it uses). Perhaps even an Electrical Weapon that can be bounced off surfaces. 3. Different Enemies: I loved the Necromorphs, but in the sequel it would be nice to fight different enemies as well, such as Robots or Cyborgs (Cyborg Necromorphs?) or even some Company Soldiers? Ships internal defenses (which you can later reprogram and use yourself?). Mad Unitoligists that attack you. New necromorphs might include a Telekinetic Necromorph who can throw objects at you (which you can catch with your kinesis if you are quick enough). Or how about some sort of Spider Necromorph (formed from two bodies?) that requires a lot of limbs to be shot off. Maybe even a Vacuum Necromorph that sucks the air from around it (once you are sucked inside it you must blast it from the inside before its stomach acid kills you)? Spore Necromorph that seems to be like a moving carpet of fleshy spores dissolving objects it rolls over and growing as it does so. 4. Alternate Paths: I think this is a good idea for increasing replayability. 5. Security Keys: I kept thinking that lockers (or indeed any locked areas) could be coded to certain levels of security clearance (say from Red through to Violet for instance), and that the higher level clearance you had the more lockers you could open. 6. Greater Location Variation: The ship itself was fantastic, and I was hoping for more space walk situations. But the look and feel did start to feel a tad 'samey' after a while. What about areas bathed in high levels of radiation (which slowly drain your health to be in - imagine fighting in that!), or stasised areas which slow you down? Possibly areas where the ships shielding is down and the stars rays will fry anyone going past the windows. 7. Different Play Styles: I enjoyed the brief shooting chair sections. But how about a Moon Buggy section, Tethered Space Walk using a Jet Pack section, Controlling Interior Defenses section, or even the classic "Get away from her you lalalala" Loader/Mech section. If I can think of anything else I'll post again. |

I always took Isaacs healthmeter as the integrity of his suit. Necromorph blades are more than capable of ripping through measly human flesh. Even if Isaac stumbles when on low health...
If not, the health meter could just inject drugs etc into Isaacs spine where they're distributed all over the body. |

No keep the infinite ammo basic weapons out of the game maybe add infinite ammo as a unlockable thing for the game if it must be in the game but never as a first playthrough feature.
Seriously what made dead space scary was the moments when you were drained of ammo and not able to restock up. I like alot of these ideas especially the bolt gun and them fighting to break free possibly losing a limb in the process. I just want the story to remain single player at all times since having a partner would make the game lose what made the first game awesome. Also no multiplayer i dont want that it would detract from the single player experience since developers then make single player a afterthought usually. Id like maybe a seperate story mode following some of the other survivors in there stuggles in the ship maybe like hammond in the first one. Keep the health meter as it is since its obviously part of the story and functions of the suit. It was a great idea . I liked how there everything was in real time and there was no meters

hell no. I did not spend all of Dead Space fighting fiercly to stay alive just to be killed off with a shock ending, isaac needs to come back, plus he's survived hundreds of necros, i doubt one would overpower him, no freaking way, isaac is too cool, maybe an option to choose a different character, but in no way should the story say that isaac just died from nicole! Maybe he was turned into the baddest necro of them all and your new character will have to face "necroisaac" idk, but that clip at the end of the game IS NOT the end of isaac!

Seriously, I like the fact there are less cutscenes and Isaac is mute. It simulates despair, liflessness and mystery in the story. A story untold allows the player to explore the possibilities of what it could be.
What I would like to see though, is a bit more urbanness in the environments. Such as blood covered hot dog stands, or abandoned broken neon restaraunts. I want to see perfect lighting, gore, and more artistic scenery to create true atmosphere. Also, soft-body physics, such as impact of plasma shots and wounds created in enemies, they need to be more powerful! |

Also I think the game needs to have a conservatory room, in which the player can see teh entire vast space and see nebulas and comets and stars. So we can realise that we are actually all alone in the majestic vastness of space.
