Default Dead Space playable demo on Xbox Live Marketplace

Hello, new to this board.
Dead Space cought my interest when i saw the resemblance of the gameplay to Resident Evil 4. Its probably gonna be a kickass game.

Anyway, i was wondering when we can download a playable demo on Xbox Live Marketplace ? I think i have read some articles about a upcomming demo. Does anyone have more news on that ?

Also, It is obvious that the PC version will have better graphics and alot higher resolution than the 360 version. Will this game be labeled "Games for Windows" ? Because i want to play the game with a Xbox 360 gamepad and not with the clumsy keyboard and mouse. I know some of the latest games that gone from 360 to PC did not support gamepad on the PC version (Mass Effect for example) (Very weird and from my eyes very idiotic, dont know how that slipped through the QC).
So will the PC version support Xbox 360 Controller ? Please EA do not forget to add that!
I am a sucker to good grapichs but more to gamepads so if it does not support gamepad i will be forced to go with the 360 version and be irritaded and upset during the whole gameplay.

Thank You!

There isn't any news on a demo at the moment.

That thread title is very misleading. By the way.

I thought it was still too soon for one. Never mind.

A demo would be nice. As for gamepad support, I'd choose keyboard+mouse over a controller anyday for this sort of game, but thats just my opinion. As far as I know that kind of thing is just up to the devs.

Customizing games so they become more accessible for a wider audience is part of a next gen game in my opinion. Also as much as i like Third Person Shooters way more than first person (gives more in depht experience during gameplay) i keep going on about devolopers should make it to be the players choice.

I can perhaps dig up the article about the playable demo...

edit, here
Playstatic » Dead Space demo coming, sequels planned

and here (same article)
ICGamers » Dead Space demo coming, sequels planned

We are barely two months away now, seems to be a good time for a demo.

edit2,Can i view the cover for Dead Space for the PC version anywhere ? If it is labeled "Games For Windows" then it most defďnitely does support Xbox 360 Gamepad.

If it does happen I can't wait for a demo of this game, It looks incredible. Like the developers said its putting a new tag on the survival horror genre as its set in the future and its not about zombies or things like that. I cannot wait for october

I would absolutely love to play a demo, but I think if they did a demo it would reveal some of the scares etc. in the game and ruin some of the experience so on that basis im not getting my hopes up for getting a demo

Thats a good point, I understand were you are coming from on that. oh well. I still can't wait for the full game. it looks absolutely amazing because no one has really taken on this angle for a horror game, Its usally zombies and things

they've released no news of a demo, and to be honest i dont think theres going to be one.
it will give away to many of the mechanics in the game, ( scare tactsics etc)

although it would be nice to play it early, i think weve got to wait for release date

It wont give away anything. In fact, releasing demos is a very good marketing strategy as it gets the player more engaged. Some developers have learned that. That is, if the developers are certain that the game is kick ***.

Some developers releases the Demo weeks after the actual release when all the bad reviews have started to show up. What are they thinking with ?
