Default Dead Space pc version

Ey guys, im new to the forum, but several sites claim that there will be a pc version.
But on the ea-store site, im not able to pre-order it for the pc.

Any official news for a eventual pc version of Dead Space?

Thanks

There will be a PC version of Dead Space, which will be released at the same time as the console versions: 31st October.

The pre-order option should hopefully be up on the EA Store soon.

Does dead space use the same 3 activation scheme as spore/mass effect, I'm assuming it does but I would like confirmation, thanks.

hey, you are right. Thats weird ?
I always thought EA made T-rated B games except for the Fifa series.
Crysis and Warhead are not made by EA but published by EA and thoose are the only ones i could find market "Games for windows". Huh, would not be suprised if Dead Space turned out to be just another B game by trying to be something its not. It sure does look good though.

EA pulled their act together for decent games but then stuck stupid copy protection on them, although I theres no official confirmation yet (as you can see I have asked ) that it will carry it. If it doesn't then I'll buy it (assuming the situation changes for the better).

Best to look at the mass effect and spore boards:
Spore Copy Protection Q&A

Basically you get 3 activations after than you have to phone or email EA and wait for them to give you an activation back. Activations are used up when you format your PC/change PC/etc. You cant install the game and play unless you activate it over the internet first either.

I've asked about it in this thread and if mercenaries 2 is going to use it too, no reply to either so i'm assuming yes.
