i would say your first stats are pretty fair, especially when you line them up with other teams, you have arsenal fans claiming clichy is 84 when he was a defensive liability last season and vermaelen is 83 after him only playing 6 games.

^ definitely the best rating estimations I've seen of late iTrann.

What I'm trying to point out is that most ONLY point out the best possible ratings for players, when they know well that players do have bad patches every now and then. Hence those ratings can't stick for default squads, instead something just lower than that to allow for dips in form throughout the season. Its almost like an average rating that people should be suggesting and not the max any player could reach at one or two points during a season, meaning they should keep an average-like rating for the season.

SO!! I would advise people suggest value ranges or an average rather than exact figures, because typically when a figure is given for a player, its a really high one from a fan of the same team, and a low one for a player on a team they don't support.

Well the way you put it is spot on, looking back it seems that my second lot of ratings, which were minimum look quite decent, and i guess everyone is quite biased rating there own team as shown in my first lot of ratings.

... they look quite realistic too as absolute minimum and/or average values.

Possibly a bit too optimistic. Think more about what the absolute minimium and maximum ratings would be for each player as a range - the average of each would suit. Because not every player can persistenly play as good as their best rating, nor will they play often as bad as their worst rating.
