Crysis problem

Hi all,
I got to where i join the marines at the hut and then get attacked by the aliens. After killing them all the aliens just sit there dead and the marines keep firing at them.So i installed the patches. Now i get a emulation conflict. I have removed Damon tools and Nero. But its made no difference and i still get the message. Is there a way round this ?

Sorted uninstalled and reinstalled with saves but NO PATCHES. Now works fine and game completed.
