Dear all,
I played the demo of Crysis no problem, so I bought and installed the full game and patched it up (1.1, 1.2 and 1.2.1). I started it up and was able to set controls and graphics and the game looks and runs fine (no frame lag) in the cut scenes and the game itself, except...for some strange reason, every 10 to 15 seconds or so it reduces down into a tab in my Windows XP Taskbar. I click on the tab and the game maximises again and I resume it, but then it reduces down again. This is, of course, rather annoying. Any ideas how to combat this? All help greatly appreciated. |

It will be you hitting the windows key on your keyboard, i hade this problem, If you have a gamer keyboard you can disable the windows key(next to the left control key) or if not just pull the key out

Thanks for the help.
The actual problem was a Crysis folder left over from the demo (which I had uninstalled) in my documents\my games, which conflicted with the full game. I deleted this and the full game created a new one automatically, and then it ran like a dream (hooray!). Cheers then, Drenboy |
