Agree then 8800 gtx then 9800 gtx then 8800 gts 512 then GT wouldnt bother with any other

An EVGA 9800 GTX happened to come in my hands and I decided to try and see what it does.

Maximum stable overclock is 810/1998/1144 (nice core OC, but the memory disappointed me). Under those settings the card is notably slower than my 8800 GTX in Crysis 1.21 1680x1050 everything on VERY HIGH, NoAA/AF. Actually it is below 20FPS most of the times, compared to 25 of my v-modded 8800 GTX. But even without the v-mod, at 648/1566/972, the 8800 GTX is clearly faster.

I have to say thought, about the awesome temps of the card with stock cooling. 65 Celcious under full load with the fan at 35%, and if I force 100% it goes down to 51.
