Playing 64 Bit

Hi guys,

I have 64 bit windows vista ultimate and i know the crysis game has a 64 bit version you can play but i cannot. I click on the icon and my graphics card revs up but the screen just goes black. Can anyone suggest a way around this?

What's your graphics card?

Be sure all drivers are installed for your GPU and that there are no programs running in the background.

This can cause a black screen to appear. Also make sure that you have the latest DirectX 9.0/10 are up to date.

I have a radeon 4870 x2 and the latest drivers. What kinda programs do you mean?

When the game load dose the taskbar still shown at the bottom and on it is crysis application flickering colour?
