Default Cricket Revolution (PC)

Hey guys, A new cricket game is about to be released. I think 30th october.. Its going to be available on steam.

You can play the demo of the game from this link, its only 70mb:

http://www.cricketrevolution.com/Downloads/Setup.exe

If you like the demo, You can buy the game at a 10% discount right now ( $18 ) from steam from this link: Cricket Revolution on Steam

And this game's official website is www.cricketrevolution.com which is down at the moment, i dont know why.

I've played the demo, I've batted in the nets, Havent bowled yet.. but i feel this game is more in depth then any cricket game i have ever played. Its a little difficult since there are too many shots and too many buttons to play the shots, but once you get used to them, It gets easier.

I suggest you guys try out the demo and post how you feel about this game.

I am impressed from the demo, day 1 buy for me. Both batting and bowling seem balanced after doing them both for a while. Won't know for sure though until we do the real thing.

Controls are awkward but i don't like using the keyboard full stop. I will use xpadder to configure controls for cricket revolution on my ps3 controller, it should be much more fluent then.

I love the shot placement idea, in most old cricket games there were set lines for repetitive shooting but now the whole 360 degrees are available pretty much.

I loved KO'ing the batsmen in the demo, nice touch and a great animation.

Only disappointment is the graphics, by looking at the recommended settings it is much lower than most new games but hey if it means more people play then great. I have played too many great graphics poor gameplay cricket games so i will gladly take an average graphics great gameplay game.

You'd be suprised to know that the game is being made in Pakistan.

This is probably the first proper game being made by Pakistani's, Hence the low graphics but i think the gameplay is top class.

Yes i read on the website. I am glad it is being made by a cricket nuts country, another reason to trust the gameplay. It all looks great to me.

My only worry is how much of a point they made of lag in the demo, i hope that doesn't mean the servers are not much cop.
