I think the PS3 demo will come at the same time as the PC one: July 30th. EA, be afraid. Be very, very afraid, because unless you pull off an absolute blinder, Ashes 2009 is the cricket game to buy by miles. In fact, many are saying it's better than BLIC '99. Looks like time might have finally run out for EA-update the graphics-update the rosters-Cricket games.

[QUOTE=Maxen13;10508885]A demo for The Ashes 2009 has been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Not sure about PSN, though, but it is quite possible that there is a demo there, too.[/QUOTE

This doesnt look like EA Sports Cricket forum. Everyone is talking about Codemasters Ashes Cricket 2009 ... looks amazing this will be the first game on PS3 and Wii ... People should support and buy this game ... Its better to have a cricket game. At least Codemasters are trying to make a decent game not like EA who just given up their Cricket series. If EA has no plans for a Cricket game then they should just lock and delete the whole "Cricket series" forum !

EA and Codemasters should team up to make a cricket game. Or maybe EA could give some licenses to Codemasters. Especially if they aren't going to make any more games in the Cricket series.

Do EA still have the licensing for the Cricket teams, leagues?
that is pretty poor if they do, but aren't producing anything.
Let someone else have the licenses if you aren't doing anything.

Well, I've got to say that it's a good game. Much better than Cricket 07 and RPIC 2007.

The AI actually have some clue what they're doing to, a real first for a cricket game. That didn't stop them from getting Broad to pitch it up to Clarke as he hit 7 sixes in 5 overs.
