Just seeing who plays cricket here..
Who's a batsman, bowler, all rounder, specialist fielder ![]() Tell us about it. Personally, I haven't been playing this last season, i only had 2 games, before being injured. Both of which we lost terribly to teams we should have thrashed proper.. I am primarily a top-middle batsman usually. I got next to no runs, i got two thin edges back to keeper and slips for single figures. But got 2 wickets for 14 runs in my 2 games. Snatched a couple of catches, and got 1 run out. Tell, us your stories..

I play cricket a lot. Started about 7 years ago and I play reps as well. I'm the opening bowler and I bat number 6.
My best bowling figures are 5-3 off 4 overs but that match was against the Team coming last in the comp. |

I don't play for a team but if I did I'm a handy off-spinner but my confidence with the bat lets me down a bit!
When playing with my mates I'm usually quite defensive with the bat but this summer I'm gunna try to bring a bit of aggression in to my game and hopefully bowl with a bit more pace although I like bowling off-spin! Also, my biggest cricketing talent is undoubtably fielding, I love taking stunning catches or running people out and I'm very good at this if I don't say so myself haha! Bowler: Anything but swing: 5 wickets for season
Aggressive Batsman that gets out too easily, got all 5 runs from season so far (12 games) on off-side, including thick edge that went through 2 slips lol Crappy Fielder with fairly good accuracy for throw.

Well, I started playing about 2-3 years ago for a team, and I was never a pace bowler I just keep it slow and straight, But I've been learning the spin and now I can bowl the perfect googly. My Batting is quite poor, I'm a defencsive one Normally batting 8-9. I can play the odd dodgey shot as well as the odd 4.
Best Batting : 16* - * = not out. // faced 6 balls Best Bowling : 8 - 3 = 2 Wides ;[ Good fielder, good acuracy, great catching and a nice quick burst about my fielding. |

and i'm only joking. I open the batting for school and club! I don't think i'm that good though. I prefer myself as a bowler - not an opener. I am economical but i can the odd wicket too. I think i'm a very good fielder. Anyone else open the batting who doesn't really want to?

I play for my school and local team, usually third batsman. In youth cricket for my area, you have to retire on 25, which I usually achieve within about 5 overs.
I usually bowl 3-4 overs in (20Twenty/Twenty20) cricket, and get 2-3 wickets. My best bowling rate for a match was 17-5, off 4 overs. Fielding, I'm not as confident with, but I like to get involved a lot. Get a catch every match, sometimes two. I don't go for the spectacular dives, though. ![]() I've played wicket keeper once or twice, but I prefer staying to the field.

I have played a lot of cricket!Perhaps you know how it is worshipped in India just as football is worshipped in UK.
I am essentially a handy off spinner and look to stop runs more than take wickets. I can bat at any spot and believe in rotating the strike. I am also an aggresive fielder. |
