definately! I also think they should have 5* rating systems for teams like in fifa but they should change for different formats (e.g. I believe New Zealand are about 4* in ODI's/T20's but only 3 and a half * in Test; hope that makes sense!)

Sounds good to me.
They had a rating system in the last, but it wasn't specific.
If they made one like fifa it'd be wicked, cos it would be easier to read.

(Post 200) woot.

i just had another idea.you know how you guys said in be a pro you could sim fielding and battting while your persn isnt bowling/batting.
what if like 2 or 3 wickets before your person was due to bat you could go to the nets for a warm uo and if you go well your stats are boosted slightly?

I think it is vital that weather conditions change during the test match games, both throughout the test and throughout each day. It is ridiculous when every day is overcast constantly!

Yea, make NZ weather lalalala.
AHAHAH!!
Nah yea, it would be good too have confidence boost (option) before you go out for your innings. Maybe a throw-downs mini game, or summit.

I will probably not buy it if it isn't up to date.
I think Be A Pro would be a seller for me.

what are you guys talking ? if there is a cricket game chances are its already in the final stages of development. If only EA fix the Cricket 07 bugs and lift the graphics to next gen (for 360, PS3) .... get rid of those fat rugby players bodies ... that should be enough for this installment

well that's your poor opinion! it needs new features- e.g something to do with cricketing careers, whether that means my favourite; be a pro and/or manager mode

If reports are true, then the game's features would have been finalised months back and right now would be the finishing touches.

ive gotta say i love all the ideas especially the be a pro idea it would be good to start of as a club cricketer then go to your states team second 11 and then obviously the state team and after that your country but they have to make sure it isnt to easy to get into the national team and in the middle of the week make it so you can choose to have a net session and after a while your stats go up

We all have great ideas but the question is how many of our ideas are implemented?
Its not far now ... the game is coming in May and we'll findout soon but keep your expectations low ... its not FIFA or Madden series ... its just Cricket !!

**** EA then. Cricket game is in demand and with the looming ashes series they are missing out on a cashcow if we do well in it. I'll admit that is when I got into cricket and the first thing I did was look for a game.

So exactly 2 months before the New Zealand website 'MightyApe' has scheduled the release of an all new EA cricket game. Could this mean an official press release? According to 'skater' on PlanetCricket, as Sunday is not a work day it is more likely that an announcement would come tomorrow (Monday 9th March). He also remembers that Cricket 07 was officially announced on a Monday!

Fingers Crossed folks!

I really don't think anyone knows..
EA is denying knowledge of Mighty Ape having a PC version of Cricket09 on their website.
And the Mods haven't been told anything, I reckon that the 'word' has been lost somewhere in translation.

What I dont understand is that how come you can go to EA Registration site and register your copy of "Cricket 09" under PC. Did some one hacked EA website and did it ?? Someone from EA owns us an explanation !!!
