Is there going to be a Cricket 09?

Lot of speculation about whats going to be on the game but i have not even heard about the game coming out.

Can somebody please confirm this.

Its simple why don't they just use the gameplay of cricket 07 and do a update on players moving clubs and bring it out on Next-gen consoles.

It would solve the problem for now!

If Codemasters release a game around ASHES, then EA will certainly follow ... they dont just sit and let codemasters take all shares, even if it means a rushed version of EA Cricket.

yer but tbh the game play was poor last year way too computerised and so hard to bowl people out. they should take a leaf out of the brian lara cricket series. although quite unrealistic it was so much fun and felt like a cricket game.

cricket 09 the ashes

now then ppl, as im am new to all this xbox 360 stuff ... just wondered if any1 could tell me if ea sports have actually released a cricket game for my console?? im sick of brian lara .. its garbage!! altho i know ea seem to struggle with gameplay ... the realism is often outstanding!! if only they could release a cricket game as good as a recent fifa.. i for one wud buy it and im sure any other cricket enthusiast would!
