Yeah sounds like a gr8 idea. Like create a deck in Tony Hawks, customise it with font, flags colours ect.
And you should be able to adjust the colour of the handle and the weight so you could have a slogging bat and a light, nudgers bat and then you should be able to pick the bat you want when you go ino bat with your create a players, depending on the situation. Like with 5 overs left in a 50 over match and 50 runs down you would need a sloggers bat, while on the first day of a test, you might opt for a lighter bat!

I agree... It will probably come on as a feature for Cricket 08/09 on the PS3.

I'd love to see that, but I can't see it being that detailed.
But talking aesthetically, changing handle colour/graphics etc. would be achieveable
