International Season Mode

EA please include an International Season mode as well as the existing tours. An International Season could let us choose a team and play a number of international tournaments and tours fighting to top the EA ODI and EA Test team ranking tables with trophy given to us at the end of a succesful season which could be added in the hall of fame! A full season could comprise of a test and ODI tour of number of countries as a four year cycle and end after the world cup!

Because of licensing reasons you cant include ICC Rankings but u can improvise and call it EA Rankings and add the tables for best batsmen and bowlers in Tests and ODI's coupled with a dynamic stats system that would update the stats and rankigs after every tour, season and custom tournament match!

A new hall of fame could complement the new stats and EA ranking tables and could also be improved to add records as a top 10 instead of just one record for each category. Trophy cabinet should also be improved and each trophy should be able to display the details of how it was won and at which venue.

Hope you take these suggestions on board. Do other people agree or any suggestions to improve the existing idea? let the discussion begin..

EA Ranking is a good idea .... If the online mode is there then ranking should be based online e.g Xbox live.
Not sure about tour mode coz you can already plan a tour with a team and play and number of matches, however there should be options to make it more customised like gamer should be able to decide how many tests, ODI or 20twenty they wanna play on each tour etc.

Yeh but instead of playing a lot of matches in a tour against say australia ..we can actually have different tours visiting different venues against different teams in a season dat would hold all the records and trophies as we go along and a world cup at the end of it all would make more sense as it will feel more consistent.

Similarly an EA rankings mode would complement the season as every match u play would MEAN sumfin as u wanna achieve a higher ranking. The existing tours are not much different to friendlies as all u get at the end is a cricket bat in the trophy room and even that doesnt tell u how it was won..jus an image to look at..it doesnt mean much if u knw wat i mean.

I'd like this feature as well. Also, let's have proper seasons as the home country, the ability to have a ODI series or triangular series, as well as Test series.

Yeh thats the whole point of an International Season it feels more consistent and meaningful. It would be even better if we can customise the season. We can decide which countries we wanna tour in the season and which countries are we gonna play at home. A complete season statistics tracking system has to be added though, otherwise there is no point of playing a long season!
