sweep shot - cricket 2007 - how to play

Anyone know how to play it ?

On century stick mode in practice for a spin bowler, moving the left stick top right just results in either a hook or an ondrive or a forward defensive - using button 2 at the same time for a right-handed batsman

I have noticed all shots work on the century stick except the sweep

But for short-pitched fast or medium bowlers this same direction does correctly execute a hook or pull
