Yes indeed very true and these are all just the basics required for a cricket game and this is why i have been saying that Cricket 2005 is the best cricket game available now.
When will codemasters understand the cricket basics?

Well that doesn't matter for most of the people when compared to the gameplay which the game offers.
And also btw it was left out only in XBOX version mistakenly.
Its the PC version which matters!

How can you rate a game where a simple requirement is missed out by mistake? A mistake? For gods sake this company you rant about who think they are the biggest games company in the world miss out a save on a new release that is not excusable and should not be stood for.

Even EA customers support laugh at the fact there is no save option.

When I listed those points that I wanted, I think you will find they are all missing from the game. You agreed they were necessary so therefore contracdicted yourself.

Stop trolling and get a real life.

This game is better than BLIC i know that for a fact. The bowling has been improved with things like seam and swing. The batting is hard much im sure with a lot of practice it will get easier.

How do you know ? Have you got your hands on the full game several weeks prior to it's release ? If you're referring to the BLIC demo, it's been stated on the Codemasters forums that the demo isn't final code; plus surely only a full game to full game comparison is valid.

Yes it is true that the bowling and batting has been improved a great deal in this game. The overall gameplay infact has been improved, which is good. But until the full version of BLIC is released, I dont think you can quite compare.

I don't care what you think about Cricket 2005 but i suggest you to stay away from blic2005.This is your own decision but i can tell you that it will be like a arcade six hitting game and never buy it before seeing the reviews of it from this site.Don't ever think of playing test matches in blic since they have copied the same ODI normal mode settings for the AI in test matches.

Batting being to hard is a bug? Since when? O you want it to be easy, hence BLIC 2005, okay. I understand. Hit a six everyball then, so get BLIC, if you want a real batting feature get EA 2005. Bowling in BLIC, o I never knew bowlers could swing the ball like if they control it with a remote in real life-BLIC, EA swing is realistic.
BLIC IS AN ARCADE, EA IS A SIMULATION!!!!
Cricket illiterate people can play BLIC not Ea. Real cricket fans won't get BLIC, they'd get EA, if they wanted something REAL!
I dont really care much about the publisher or developer, and maybe according to your definition of a cricket fan I might be an amateur cause I think BLIC is heads above EA's Cricket series, though I must confess I played cricket at the professional level, now I would like to say a few things:

Graphically EA's cricket has better yet unrealistic player models, so dont know how ppl find that good cause I sure dont, actually the grounds look small cause of the gorillas-like players running around, animations are noything but smooth, everytime a fielder collects a ball it looks like a silverback on the safari, crowd is nowhere near BLIC (FIFA crowd doent work for cricket).

BLIC is the first video game which has made bowling real fun, I mean I enjoy bowling as much as batting, now I agree with arcade feel about batting in BLIC, but then again its just a demo on easy settings and its not the final code, but I wud give them a try for few more years b4 writing them off, but I have to say I am very confident that in two to three renditions BLIC will be the PES of cricket, as for EA well it might be the FIFA of the cricket world and am sure there will be certain people lining up to buy the game, who care more about clouds than the real game.

And finally regarding FIFA and NBA Live series, ever heard of PES or the 2K Sports series, need I say more.
fifa is the best selling football game so well hmm. need i say more.

Just because Fifa is the best selling it doesnt mean its the best

Its the best selling for a number of reasons, mainly due to small kids wanting lisences

PES 4 is way better than Fifa 05. Fifa has the edge because of the teams and kits but PES plays way better especially online.

Yawn. What a steaming pile of excrement.
The game hasn't been released yet. Your pathetic attempts to criticise BLIC just make you look like an idiot. Grow up.

Dude idiots are much better than the stupid people like you.
And by the way u can edit the gamesettings file of the demo with archmac and check it.
or else just wait for july 21 and u will know what im saying.
And also i can tell you that they have copied most of the settings from cricket 2004 like Maxpositionadjust.
Just a suggestion for you, don't try to criticizse others when u don't have the required knowledge/common sense.
