Commanders Challenge: Blood Feud

Anyone else have a real problem beating this one?

I finished it the other day, at a time of over 70 minutes. The problem I had was that if you engaged at the beginning, you'd just get infantry spammed at you until eventually your base fell.

I eventually beat it after the third attempt by controlling all the Ore refineries off the main island/ at sea and letting the 2 commanders fight it out until one wiped each other out.

Then I got a prospector across the island, built an armoury and spammed the remaining commanders base and resourse assets with tanks and APC's for the .50 cal guns. It was a horrible war of attrition, and gave me a few headaches - real ones included!
