Did EA only put the girls in to attract people who like, can't say it.
I'm straight but this is a bit stupid.

This game was marketed at teenage males and teenagers are obsessed with sex lol. I like hot chicks as much as the next straight guy. But they totally went overboard with RA3. It's the costumes that really ruin it for the game. Skantily clad female officers? Mini skirts on all of em and almost no buttons done up on Eva's shirt? Might as well have made it a porno.
RA1 was the best on custume - they made that game as if it were a period drama of WW2 - matched the costumes to the storyline and era. In RA2 the costumes were based more on the character's locations. When Tanya was fighting in DC she was wearing her tank top and combats. When she was in Russia trying to blow up nuclear silos, she wore a fleeced coat. Also Luitenant Zophia was dressed from head to toe in a military style catsuit to keep her warm the cold Soviet command centre. In RA3 all you got is miniskirts no matter where the female character comes from. It just doesn't fit with the story. If Natasha wore a miniskirt in Siberia and fought in it, she'd die of hyperthermia before she could pull a trigger. EA really are dumb. They just don't think logically. Hot chicks in hardly any clothing is sweet. But seriously, EA this is Command & Conquer - the military. You gotta make things fit logically. In the Allies end scene from RA2 Yuri's Revenge, you see Agent Tanya and Luitenant Eva competing with each other in sexy black dresses. That fit fine with the end of the game because both character's were celebrating the end of the war and allied victory. Of course they're gonna dress smart and sexy. But in RA3 the characters are dressed provokatively from start to finilalalala just doesn't fit right with the story. |

Well... it is a game where suspension of disbelief is a key ingredient in order to enjoy the game..! I mean, technology based on Tesla, controlling Voltron against the Soviets and al of that! Let's just believe that somehow these girls always keep their legs warm enough to wear mini skirts ;-)

Of course the representation of woman in C&C RA3 is misogynist and sexist. Yet I can't think of a single woman I've ever known to play an RTS game let alone a console version.
The game is brilliantly done with everything being consistently way over the top. The accents, story lines, costumes and everything else go so far beyond the top that it's hard to criticize them for any one aspect. Everything being over the top is what makes the game so great. I personally love having sexy vixens curse and order me around in the cut scenes and their cleavage keeps me smiling throughout. Show me a straight male who claims they don't and I'll show you a liar. Not the best representation of woman but it's made by men for men. And it's extremely well done and fun in my opinion. Great console RTS. Keep buyign them so they keep making them! |

Also why complain about all the women in the game. So their there, so its unrealistic in a war and Siberia to wear nothing. Just enjoy the fact that their there. |
