It was released more recently.
Extra man hours were needed to convert it.
Everything with an Apple logo on it is more expensive.

Unless you need it for 'creative industry'. My g/f got one because all the architecture software is mac based.

I agree with the last comment, but disagree that macs aren't any good. They are good for creative packages for music and media and haven't been designed for gaming in a big way. I run Red Alert 3 on pc.

Mac is a smaller market for games than pc, as has been stated.

Take into consideration what some types of packages require to run never mind doing what they were designed to do.
