Games do have their Busy times. The same happened over at the Burnout section until Burnout PC was released or the latest update came about.

You will probably find that with the latest Red Alert release, there may be more people in that forum then some of the others.

The forum isn't dead... Far from it. It's just cooling off for a while.

There's no release date yet, anything is pure speculation. The beta is starting in November.

Thanks chickndipp, beta testing c&c4 sounds like it would be fun given what I've heard of the changes, the design process of all of the units looks amazing and the amount of work to create a unit is incredible, all credit to the developers of the command & conquer games.

Talking about beta testing... do you guys have any vacancies for testers?
I'm learning mapping, scripting, and coding everyday too.
I want in.

The beta test will be public. If you bought Red Alert 3 Premier Edition and registered with the code then you will be able to take part. There may be other ways to join, but no details on that so far.

fair point, a public demo would be good, I will be getting command and conquer 4 anyway. One of the things I like is that items unlocked online can be used offline and anything unlocked offline an be used online to my knowledge. There is other things I like about it, but I can't think of them at the minute.

I will be keeping an eye out for the release date for c&c4 from january, that information might be available by then, if game is correct it states Q1 2010. If the release date is confirmed for c&c4 let me know.

I asked because in my case, I didn't really like tiberium wars.
I know the game was base in the dark side of the tiberium.
but maps were way to dark for me man, and the whole graphycs just didn't do anything for me.

As a C&C devoted fan, C&C4 it's a must have.
But still a demo will be nice, so when you do buy it, you know what to expect.

Not really, can't wait to find out the difference between the crawler and the mcv. It will be a true learning experience.

Some of the units will be different, some probably the same, I guess everyone will have to wait and see. I would like to beta test c&c4 however as I said it should be fun even for players of c&c 3 and kanes wrath. I am keeping an eye for further info on command & conquer 4 on battlecast primetime.

There's no word on a public demo. But the new gameply is totally different, and really action packed

I knew command and conquer 4 would be different, but wasnt sure how different it would be, I know someone who is getting the game as well and I personally look forward to seeing ther differences for myself.

One difference i've heard of is that base defences can gain veterancy in c&c4 which will be interesting, it has never been done before to my knowledge.

Actually no, but I think I heard it on battlecast primetime from the developers on the ask the develper section. I have looked at that forum before and will continue to check for further information on c&c4.
