Default Win XP won't let me start all over again

I was an avid C&C player and have all the disks from C&C up to C&C Generals when I stopped playing. Now I find I have time on my hands and i want to start playing the seris from the beginning and if I get addicted like I was before I'll soon have the rest of the disks to make my gaming life complete.

But I now have Windows XP and It won't let me play C&C95, even if I select Win95 mode I get an error message "C&C95.exe - entry Point Not Found"
So I'm turning to the veterans of C&C to assist me in my battle to get me back onto the battle fields

Do you have a 64-bit version of Windows XP?

I have no idea. How can I check this? And If so, what do I need to do to fix it?

As far as I know it's not possible to install 16-bit programs on 64-bit systems. Perhaps you can find an emulator or something?

it is impossible to install C&C95 as it uses a 16bit installer (very foolish but nothing to be done) I think Nyerguds has a solution though so holde on! I'll go look for it...

I had a quick look on yahoo answers..
Most of this is what you have already tried, but there seems to be some other stuff there.

Command & Conquer 95, XP installation? - Yahoo! Answers

Hope it helps.
