Default hardcore D1 drifters wanted

D1 style no reversing and using king assist only with no traction control or anti spin. these are the requirements.
if you can or want to learn how to drift like this let me know.
my login for information is Gothic_Raider on the PS3 it used to be canyondrifter but that id is currupted and un realiable.
when i can figure out a good tag for my crew i will be starting a KING assist only drift crew to have fun sliding around with online. doing it in king will mean that most of the time i wont be getting any record breaking scores but then when you are using casual and sliding down a wall to get them whats the point your not drifting to get that score you are mearly letting the computer do it for you...
so if you see me online and notice that i am not reversing back yet still get some pretty good scores even though i am running KING assist and want to learn how get a headset send me a friends request and i will take you to a training track and show and tell you my lines and settings that i know work...by all means if you know of any better ways/lines/or settings let me know...and i dont mean tell me to use casual lmao
and four letter tags so far are...
ACDC...anti casual drift crew
H_D1...hardcore D 1
UNRC...unorthadox race crew...(using an actual decal from the game no 145)
so far i like unrc the best as it has the decal that can be applied to the car ...
any suggestions?....

yeah well that could be part of the same team i suppose as i already have the 67 VETTE and i know the 60's camaro ss is a good drifter as well so yeah we shall see....you all have seen my vid with the VETTE...or have you?...pmsl
if you came on board at least we could video the best runs for our team...you have the power to edit yours i dont. my vids are just as they are and uncut...which really sucks as some of them are really boring except for that 1 or 2 really good runs out of like 5

i dont mind editing/ vidding. infact i would like to folow u guys round in a mustang or summing and vid ya. but i would preffer send clips of people to them to edit on ms movie maker as it trakes ages to edit and clip ect. my preview took 3-4 hours O.o
so i could film u (example) then send u all the clips. then send edited version back and ill merge em all together , i kinda aint drifted in months so i might suck lol

hey shane i wish i had some editing software but i dont so i cant do it...atleast not yet...if i can find one that is user friendly and is cheap enough maybe i will get it but its not very high onmy list of priorities at the mo...
i am considering getting some stock factory tuned cars just to see how each one drifts as is because of a guy on youtube who managed an 11,000 score in an un modded car at autopolis...we shall see...i have become a bit of a cod4 addict though so it may be awhile

as far as the drifting goes i have 2 stock oldschool cars now the 67 VETTE which on KING is actually pretty good even though the only thing i changed on the car was the color and the wheels the rest is stock, no nos or anything just as it comes from the car lot . and the camaro...which is not as good as the VETTE...will get some more soon

The highest score I got on drift without casual is 20,000. Not exactly, but close to that.

That was when Canyondrifter raced me using Casual to prove a point. And he so did prove a point. ^^

I'm not bragging, but at the moment, i'm probably the best Pro Street player in TGM. I haven't raced other members yet...

I wanna race UNRC, or H_D1, or ACDC (NOT the rock-band.. XD).. Well, ANY clan! I wanna get TGM in the know!

Well, what I use is Manual Clutch, because the clutch is more offective, and I can change into gear accordingly.

Also I use stock tyres, because they can give you long drifts at the expense of grip. It is best on long, spacious tracks, and okay on tight tracks, such as the ones in Ebisu.

To kick your car out into a bigger drift, shift UP. To stop a drift, shift DOWN.

well i usaully just use 2nd gear or 3rd depending on the tracks...but i can also use 6th....just depends on the tracks as to which gear...usually i take off in 2nd for up hill starts and 3rd or 4th for the longer run ups...stock tires , stock suspention untill i am familiar with the car then slowly adjust the suspention on stage 4 util its better then stock for turn in and usually helps to get rid of the snap back from uneven tracks...no wide body kits and i only add downforce to the front to help with front end direction changes and keep the back as little grip as possible...i have used stage tires for drifting and they can make a differance but usually they give you too much grip causing the car to want to either straighten itself up too soon from the drift or cause the car to want to head for the wall or grass that you are drifting around...,try to hit the nos for the 1st corner for a nos bonus and on the long run ups get over 65mph and get the high speed driftif done right you can get both on some tracks...take the time to do practise runs on the career mode...the damage you create is repaired free before you do the race for real...and allows you to tune/adjust the car and your lines as they are as important as the settup of the car....you will see that at the right speeds the lines are totally differant to when you are going slower.....and the angle at which your car is sliding at wants to be balanced between both how fast you can go as well as the angle its self...what i mean is it all well and good drifting at a 45 degree angle but if it only lasts 15 feet then back it off to say 35degree and it should drift 3 times as far...you can adjust the angle with clutch kicking ,holding the clutch and handbrake or by throttle control...personally i use a combination of all 3at various points during the drift...and on some tracks its as easy as just point and steer....lol
i hope this helps any of you in some way or another...yes you can get higher scores using casual but it takes alot more skill to be good with KING....like the skill needed to drift in RACE DRIVER GRID....NO ASSISTS AT ALL and still get massive scores....hehehehe....grid is a skill drift race every time
